Ch-ch-ch-changes! ⚡

Well, here we are. Another evolution!

If you’ve been around a while, you’ve seen us through a few transformations. From 9 Main to 9 Mobile, through a pandemic, to The Po Cafe, and now The Cutler Collective.

But looking back, it all makes perfect sense.

The Po was never just a café. It was a gathering place for neighbors, artists, writers, musicians. We opened exhibiting and selling art. We organized events, celebrated poetry, and made some extraordinary connections.

One of those connections began during Washington’s first annual Poetry Month, when I reached out to a poet named Robert L Arnold (@defiance13_). A poem became a reading. A reading became a friendship and a collaboration. And that collaboration became a couple books, with another on its way from a major publisher.

Meanwhile, the art never stopped. From my family’s first Art Walk at Flirtation Farms to the walls of The Po, our fall Art Walk on the lawn, and most recently an unfinished Bethlehem barn transformed into a gallery in six days, the ideas just kept coming.

When we closed The Po, I told you it wasn’t the end.

I meant that.

Welcome to The Cutler Collective.

We’re building a creative business around art, books, exhibitions, publishing, and collaborations that bring people and ideas together.

You’ll still see some familiar faces, the farm, the flowers, and probably a little bit of everything in our stories. But this page is now home to the work of The Cutler Collective and the creative people who make it possible.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you. And to the artists, writers, and dreamers out there, we’re just getting started.

Same spirit. New chapter.

Stay with us.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Mom in a way only our family would. Her ashes were spread near her fathers grave at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Cape Cod. An informal and very private gathering a little over a full year after her passing, we continued her tradition of sharing a Budweiser with Grampie Charlie and began a new one by sharing Vodka Gimlet (only one!) with her. We love and think of you often and appreciate the immeasurable effect you had on us all. Rest In Peace.

Dear Shepaug Seniors,
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your graduation! I am thrilled to be capturing you in your cap and gowns so that you will remember and treasure these images in years to come!
These are trying times, but you are stronger than you think!
I am proud to be a part of the Shepaug family and while I have a few years to go before my first child graduates high school, I feel confident she too will be like all of you- amazing and fierce!
Thank you again and I can’t wait for you to see all of your pictures on graduation day!! 🙌🏻🤗
