✨ Serving with purpose. Leading with heart. ✨
Last Saturday, Heartbeats & Hands 540 volunteers had the honor of supporting @waymarkfoster Xtreme Journey Camp — a powerful experience designed to equip youth in foster care with life skills, mentorship, and real-world exposure.

From stuffing swag bags to connecting with youth and supporting lunch service, our volunteers showed up with joyful hands and open hearts. 💛

We’re especially proud to have distributed 70 copies of our Cole’s Initiative financial literacy guide, helping equip teens with tools they can carry into their future.
Moments like this remind us: access, guidance, and community can truly change lives.

📬 And stay tuned — our next On The BeatNews newsletter drops next Friday!

Thank you to every volunteer who continues to be the heartbeat behind our mission. #HH540 #volunteer #volunteersmakeadifference

💜 Still feeling grateful!

Last month, 8 amazing HH540 volunteers showed up to support the annual @everycolormatters 5K Walk/Run, and our hearts are still full of gratitude. What makes this event so special is watching the community come together — family members, friends, survivors, and current patients — all cheering each other on with so much love and strength. 💛

ECM awarded five cancer patients with checks that day, reminding us why this work matters. The event was filled with joy, including a marching band, vendors, food, and a bounce house for everyone to enjoy. 🎉

At HH540, our mission is to support nonprofits by providing extra volunteer power, and it’s always our pleasure to stand alongside ECM in their impactful work.

A HUGE congratulations to Every Color Matters for being awarded the RICE Foundation of the Year award for your charitable contributions! 🌟 Cancer touches so many lives, and we are grateful for organizations like yours who are truly making a difference.

💜 We’re just two weeks away! 💜

Heartbeats & Hands 540 is so excited to have 12 amazing volunteers joining us on November 8th for the @everycolormatters 5K Walk/Run at Westside Park! 🎽👏

This annual event raises awareness and support for those impacted by cancer, offering hope and encouragement to families in our community.

Our HH540 volunteers will be busy behind the scenes — assisting with pre-race setup, water stations, cheering on participants, and keeping the event running smoothly. 🌟

We’re beyond grateful for their commitment and can’t wait to see everyone there! Together, we’re making every step count. 💪💜
