Athlete highlights #28 @untappedpwr

600 lbs / 272.5 kg x 3 PR | @noah.g_83
Momentum is insanely high right now across all three lifts heading into Jr Provs next month. The plan is to pull something nice and smooth a block out and ball out on the day. - this triple is 10 kg over Noah’s current comp max 💀🤝

300 lbs / 137.5 kg for @clearysh - 20 lbs off the ATPR - there was a clear issue come lockout when it came to heavy deadlifts for Shelby prior to us starting. Our main focus these first few blocks has been to address that issue. I’m very happy with the positioning gains and the improvements in Shelby’s hinge. All the work these last first few blocks is laying a SOLID foundation for when we really start pushing.

534 lbs / 242.5 kg + 11 lbs ATPR for @brarlifts_
This is a massive squat and a huge improvement over where we ended up last Centrals. (22 lbs up) depth issues were not there on the day. Very happy with how things showed up. 9/9 day, nice total PR - full recap posted on page.

315 lbs / 142.5 kg for dylanotina in prep for his first meet later this month. Over our first few training blocks we figured out what frequency and layout worked best for Dylan’s bench. Now it’s about showing up on the day and putting it together.

463 lbs / 210 kg x 2 PR (2.5 kg off comp max)
@yakattack75kg Very nice double for Alex! Loading this in the gym is huge. Especially for a double. Few weeks out from Alex’s next showing. Strength is very high. Just need to pace ourselves well going into the comp and execute a big 3rd squat.

First Open Meet for @brarlifts_ Canadian Central Championships 🇨🇦

242.5 kg / 534 lbs + 5 kg PR
135 kg / 297 lbs pr match
260 kg / 573 lbs + 5 kg PR

Perfect 9/9 day + 10 kg / 22 lbs PR ‼️

This is our 4th meet together and equals exactly + 100 kg / 220 lbs to the total since Daman joined the team in 2024!

Squat prep was quite good, we ran into some problems on depth last time we competed at the national level. Correcting that issue and going 3/3 on squat was the main goal. We were able to do so and go + 5 kg over last showing.

On bench we matched the comp PB to be on the safe side, Daman’s second was a bit shaky. He fixed the issues on his 3rd and it moved well. With Daman’s ability to grind there was definitely a PR there on the day.

We have realized over the past few comps that it’s best to keep things more on the chill side going into competition. Especially on the deadlift. Leading in we only pulled 240 kg once and it was only decent. The peak hit well yet again.. 260 kg for a 5kg And a great way to end off the 9/9 day.

Incredibly proud of Daman, with tons of external pressures outside of the gym, this prep wasn’t the BEST. But he showed up incredibly ready and executed when it mattered most.

Athlete highlights #13 @untappedpwr

515 lbs / 235 kg x 1 new conv 1rm for @nmjaviii
Second block back on the team and new 1rm conv (on the week 3) we have really began putting emphasis on the conventional and it’s taking off. 7 weeks till comp day! Big pull loading

415 lbs / 190 kg x 3 - new 3rm for @18f95
Azeez has been having some great training despite his busy schedule and training for work. Creeping towards that 500 lbs squat one day at a time.

600 lbs / 272.5 kg Hatfield squat for @zachsreasonablelifts I don’t normally Program / share these lifts on here, but this was just so damn cool and unexpected. Good work Zach.

415 lbs / 190 kg x 3 - new 3rm for @lucas_.nash comp best is 205 kg, and this triple moved around Rpe 8, very great progress in the squat for Lucas. Lots of little technique changes have been paying off big. Excited to get the squat into the high 4’s and 5’s.

515 lbs / 235 kg x 3 - massive 2 & 3 rm for @brarlifts_
Majority of the time that we pull into the 5’s is deeper into a meet prep for singles. This actually matches the biggest pull Daman hit in his last prep where he pulled 567 lbs. Clearly this is massive. High 500’s -> 600 here he comes!

Athlete highlights #10 @untappedpwr

Going to start sharing the teams wins on the page and stories more moving forward!

@jibin_lim JR 100 kg JR class - 240 kg / 530 lbs + 32.5 kg comp deadlift PR to seal together a 65 kg / 143 lbs total PR with 8 months between comps… insanity. Biggest game changes between these meets were the emphasis on nutrition & programming.. pretty significant technique changes to the deadlift to really let it shine.

@dalewillicombe Masters 1 120 class - 182.5 kg / 402 lbs x 2 (ties 3 lift comp best) Dale’s bench is at all time strength levels, 9 weeks till bench only and 3 lift nationals! (We need a championship or 2 in 2026) 😤

@lukaparikh1 105 kg JR class - 227.5 kg / 501 lbs ATPR
One of the biggest milestones in the game imo. Luka has gone from 365 lbs -> 501 lbs on squat (+136lbs) from April till December. Only 8 months.. while losing 12 lbs. We still have so much to clean up technique wise, Luka is going to do some big things in 2026

@timwagler98 83 kg Jr class - 186 kg / 410 lbs PR
Tim’s biggest issues when we started a few months ago were depth & executing the lifts to the comp standards. Tim is now without a doubt lifting to the standards needed to compete, plenty more Pr’s to fall in the next few blocks.

@brarlifts96_ 105 kg Jr class - 255 kg / 556 lbs 2.5 kg comp pr to secure his 3rd and last PR total of 2025.
This stamps 90 kg / 198 lbs to his total in the last 14 months together. This last prep was our worst to date (competing back to back is hard) especially with external factors being hectic for Daman. Luckily we have experience peaking for comp together and we adjusted a few things.. Putting together another 9/9 PR day!

@brahimdeiaa 83 kg Jr class - 182.5 kg / 402 lbs x 2 PR
Ibrahim and I have worked together on and off for years, he balanced boxing and powerlifting for a while.
Since getting back on the team we have taken his bench from 95 kg -> 110 kg | squat from 130 kg to 155 kg and Deadlift from 160-165 to 182.5 x 2 in 3 months.
