A day late but that about sums up my motherhood experience!!!!

Motherhood is a complex, exhilarating, exhausting, and amazing journey!!! It’s strange to think about how I thought of it before the title “mother” became a reality.

As I write this I think of how imperfect I’ve been on this entire journey. Moments I’ve thrived and moments that I’ve completely and utterly failed! Moments I couldn’t control as much as I wanted to and moments I just didn’t show up chasing my personal dreams.

One word that has been LOUD the past 5 years has been GUILT. I’m cracking up because back in 2017 I thought I could be a stay at home mom. 🤣🤣🤣 I was not built for that life…

However, chasing my dreams gave me, and continues to give me, serious mom guilt!!!! I’ve tried to be the best mom and do all the things moms do that make our children thrive in love and happiness while also being a driven career woman!

I admit…failure (in my mind) has been a familiar acquaintance, but I have and always will remain in the fight to get it right!!!!

Motherhood isn’t pretty up close, but when you pan out you realize all the mess, cries, and disappointments creates the most beautiful artwork.

Thank you @bravenboyd and @kashelboyd for all your love, being amazing, compassionate, stubborn, radiant, funny, and respectful boys! You are the greatest work I’ve been blessed with!!!!

It’s Championship Season and @bravenboyd wants in on it!!!! Loved to be able to watch his 2nd grade team play up on the fourth grade level and win a championship!!!!! They went undefeated this season and I’m so proud of him and his team!!!!

Braven is growing in his skillset and still showing up in a big way being the youngest on his team.
