A bit different from my usual posts, but I hope you enjoy! Though most of the elements in my work is public domain/Creative Commons, I had a little extra help from a fellow page, @brayd0489. Thanks for letting me use your pigment art to add some flair and bring this reel to life! 👻📷🎨 I remember reading Edgar Allan Poe stories as a kid. At the time, I had no idea how much public domain media would impact me. Currently, I'm learning new ways to work with Creative Commons and Public Domain Content every day, and seeing all the media there is that's open and available to the public is very humbling. At the same time, it makes me feel connected to people in world, living and dead. Though I guess it's only natural (or supernatural!) that a ghoul would befriend the dead! 👻 The Tell-Tale Heart Edgar Allan Poe " True!—nervous—very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses—not destroyed—not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily—how calmly I can tell you the whole story. It is impossible to say how first the idea entered my brain;" #retro #surrealism #edgarallanpoe #digital #collage
