All good things must come to an end, it’s kind of crazy that my high school career is now officially done. I will always cherish every moment I’ve stepped on the court with my best friends. I just wanted to make a few shout outs to specific people that have made me the person and player who I am today.

Oh my dear freshman, you’ve grown so much since I first met you last year at Ellie‘s. Your bubbly personality lights up the court and you always have a smile on your face even when we are down. Never stop being the amazing person you are on and off the court. Always remember you are strong, talented, and capable of becoming the greatest you can be. Keep working hard, believing in yourself, and enjoy every moment because the years do go by fast. I’m so grateful that we got to play at least one season together and grow closer. The sweetest girl on the court, who wouldn’t hurt to fly, but kill the ball instantly, I’m gonna miss you so much. I remember your freshman year when you were just learning the ropes of Dreyfoos and we would always walk to the gym together before practices and get Starbucks with Erin. When you stepped on the court, you would set the tone and made sure the other team was intimidated by you even as a freshman. Now you’re one of the top players in our division always putting in 100%. From our Bak days playing with each other to now calling each other past teammates is kind of crazy to me. Little Amelia has grown into an amazing player that’s going to conquer the volleyball world. I don’t know where to begin. To the girl, I started my volleyball career with, you don’t understand how much I am gonna miss us playing together. From our days at club when I was a middle and you were an outside to me being your libero and my outside is kind of crazy.
