Wow 5 years of early mornings, late nights, PRs, tears, nerves, lessons, and everything in between. I thank God for not only giving me a team, but a family that showed up for me no matter what.
This year taught me so much, not just physically, but mentally too. I learned that things don’t always go the way you want them to, but God always has a plan, even when you can’t understand it in the moment. Knowing that some of these races would be the last ones I’d ever run with my best friends is something I’ll never forget. Those moments, those memories, and those people will stay with me forever.
I can definitely say I shed a few tears during the emotional ending at State because it hit me that this chapter of my life that always helped my mind when times weren’t easy was really coming to an end. It was the happiest, saddest, and most unforgettable feeling all at once.
Thank you Shelby Track for giving me more than just a sport. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, the family, and the love. I’ll forever be grateful for every second I got to spend being a part of something so special. Once a Whippet, always a Whippet.💌

There was a whole lot of ups and downs this season. I couldnt have asked for a better finish and to be able to run with the guys I did. Its bitter sweet to say goodbye to the seniors because they were all great but at the end of the day thats the cycle. To be able to be etched in history forever is one of the craziest accomplishments I couldve asked for. We’ll be back next year for one last ride…
Thank you seniors. Youre some of the best guys I couldve met🖤

Congratulations to the Shelby Whippets 4x1 teams who not only won the Division III state titles but both teams set new school records in the process. The guys not only set the school record, but also broke the OHSAA Division III meet and state records.
