I’ve been home almost a full year from my mission. I miss the people of Michigan more than I thought possible. Reflecting on how grateful I am for the 18 months serving my Savior Jesus Christ.

Before I left I thought God forgotten about me, I didn’t believe He knew anything about me. I remember praying before I left I told him I don’t go to church, I haven’t prayed in years, I don’t know anything, I turned my back to you my whole life, Im a sinner. Why would He want me?

His response to me changed my life. He said
I know u haven’t been to church, but you CAN this Sunday. I know you’re scared but my Son WILL comfort you. I know you haven’t prayed, but you CAN start. And I know you don’t have a perfect knowledge.
Maybe you don’t know anything, but you will learn and my Son will teach you. You are a sinner, but you CAN be forgiven because my Son has redeemed you. I want you because before anything else you are my daughter.

You are never too late to turn to Jesus Christ. Michigan taught me that in my own life and in the lives of the people I met.

I wish somehow I could show each and every one of the people I met. Every person I met holds a special place in my heart🫶
