Dear Coli,

I could use all the words in the world to describe your importance and the appreciation I have for you being a centerpiece in my life, and it still wouldn’t come close to being enough. Since I was born, you’ve been nothing short of a home, and you’ve given me the opportunity to have one of the most unique and creative childhoods a kid could dream of. Our memories together span deeper than anyone can imagine, both on and off the field. I slept more nights in the walls of the concrete jungle than I did at my friends’ houses growing up, many of which were filled with tic tac toe games that resided for over a decade under locker room tables, wiffle ball games, and scooter races around the concourses. Throughout the years, you taught me life’s most important lessons, while allowing me to also enjoy the game that I love. You gave me the opportunity to go from watching behind the net to watching between the lines. I cherish it all.

To my fellow clubbies, I’m so fortunate to call you guys my coworkers and be a part of the best clubhouse staff in baseball.

To my fellow coworkers who I’ve met over the last five seasons of other departments, you guys worked so hard to make the Coliseum show its beauty every day. I’m so thankful to be a part of your fAmily.

To the players and support staff, past and present, thank you for making my “job” the greatest thing in the world and allowing me to be myself. I know I gave you and this building every ounce I had.

And lastly to the city. It’s been a blessing to call this address in Oakland my home for these 22 years of my life. Being able to represent Oakland across my chest and be alongside some amazing groups are some of my most coveted memories.

I can leave you knowing you gave me everything you had, and I gave you everything I had and more. Thank you for everything, Coli🏠❤️

What an emotional day. To my second home, I can’t believe this is the end. As many people saw this place as old and rundown, I saw it as my playground and a place that brought people together. For the past 20 years of my life, growing up at the Coliseum was a blessing. Not only was I always surrounded by great people, but I was immersed in the best sport ever created. From becoming a bat boy at 6 years old to working in the clubhouse with my dad and brother, I will cherish every memory made here in Oakland.

Thank you for everything. It’s the people I’ll miss the most.
