POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🚨 Here is your DAWG OF THE WEEK 🚨

This weeks #DawgOfTheWeek belongs to @braylon_rey 🤼‍♂️

Braylon is a HS wrestler out Brownsburg, IN and is currently the number 4 ranked wrestler in the country at 144 pounds. He is a 3x state placer, finishing in the top 3 each season and was the champion last year at 144, defeating the current number 5 ranked wrestler in the country at 150, Peyton Hornsby.

Braylon trains @redcobrawrestlingacademy and is committed to wrestle @uncchapelhill upon graduation. He will be looking to go back to back as a state champion this upcoming season as a Sr.

Major props to Braylon for competing at Who’s Number 1 a few weeks back. He will be competing at Super 32 in just a couple weeks with a chance to make some noise and become a Super 32 Champion. Keep that dawg mentality going Braylon and best of luck as you train these next few weeks.

Appreciate @warrenpollard and others that reached out in support of Braylon being this weeks DOTW.

The talent. The pace. The physicality. The fight.

This is what high-level wrestling looks like. 🔥'/

Was that a takedown??? We’ll let you decide but we know what we saw. Leave us your feedback in the comments. Reynolds vs. Grajeda in Who’s #1 🔥 A close match that went down to the final seconds. Grajeda was up early, but Reynolds fought back with escapes and forced action. Final score: Grajeda 7, Reynolds 5. 👀

What an incredible experience for Maddie and Braylon to have competed with the best in the country this past weekend! Not only did they get to showcase their technical skills in front of the whole country, they both showed something even greater than the wrestling. These two highlighted the best part of training under Coach Red: showing how to have class, win or lose. There are many levels in this sport and while young people may think winning matches is the highest level, what actually sets a wrestler apart from others is what kind of person he or she is when you don't see the outcome you wanted. Executing top notch skills and still keeping your poise no matter the outcome sets any wrestler much higher than the others. Maddie and Braylon represented themselves and Red Cobra better than anyone could have asked of them. We know they left this weekend with hearts full of gratitude for the experience and taking nothing for granted. Congratulations to both of you and we know you'll be launching even higher 🐍🥇

Braylon Reynolds at Who’s Number One.

Back and forth and literally came down to the final seconds. Exactly the kind of match you expect on this stage.
