I always use the same base for my banana breads - browned butter + homemade nut mix (walnuts, pecans, almonds, macadamias). This time I had some pumpkin seeds + sunflower seeds, so I added those too 🧑‍🩰 and I loved it!

then I add whatever extras I’m feeling,
lately, blueberries + chocolate chips have been my favorites. The fruity tartness from the blueberries with the sweet nuttiness from the browned butter + banana + nut mix + chocolate = the perfect balance of sweet, fruity nuttiness 💛🍫🫐

Omg!! This is the must absolutely delicious bread. When I say OMG!!! I mean it, the cinnamon and the raisins and walnuts is just perfect. And the fluffy aspect of it is all amazing. I think I have found my favorite baker @emily 😉

As the birds begin to chirp again, and the flowers slowly bloom, a quiet whisper finds me
let the change in, em ⋆‧°𓏲ּ𝄢𐙚˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀♡

Being more intentional with every yes this season. Action and flexibility only exist in presence. I move in full embodiment of faith, as I take every breath knowing that Life says: this or better, never this or worse.

Find me somewhere doing something that moves me forward this season. Embracing possibility in every moment I can. Because we deserve to feel good, to treat ourselves with love and care, even in the most mundane moments. Throw that outfit on that you think looks a little funky. Say yes to that last minute invite with your friends. Join that beginners class that you’ve been thinking about. Bake those muffins that really caught your eye, even if you’ve never baked a day in your life. (The picture of the cinnamon raisin loaf is a side by side of a failed attempt and way better attempt - yes, trial and error is normal) Say hi to strangers, tell them happy Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, whatever it is.

My favorite is when I say happy Friyay and people look at me all funny. Yes, happy friYAY!

Change is proof of life. What changes have you been wanting to make? Go!
