🍄 MYCELIUM #4 — DORMANCY

Tonight, CoCA goes quiet.

Fungi sing.
Machines breathe.
Images drift.
Voices become vibration.

A space between sound and silence where nothing appears to be happening, yet something is already becoming.

Come as you are.
Listen deep.🍄

One tool. Many practices.
Let’s see what emerges.

A big thank you to Breadmodular for generously sharing
ahLOOKah with us yesterday, and for offering the workshop completely free.

More than introducing a piece of software, he opened up a way of thinking: a tool to be explored, altered and made one’s own.

This is what excites us at CoCA–Symbiosis, when knowledge is shared openly, it doesn’t remain with its maker. It travels, changes hands, and becomes something else.

We’re curious to see what each person does with it.

MYCELIUM #4 — DORMANCY 🍄
Tomorrow | Saturday, 3 October | 6.30 PM
CoCA–Symbiosis

What happens when we stop?

Not everything needs to grow all the time.

There is a phase beneath the surface quiet, unseen, seemingly still—where something is listening, gathering, becoming.

For MYCELIUM #4 Dormancy, we enter that space.

An immersive evening of fungi biosonification, modular synthesis, live visual animation, healing soundscapes, vocal exploration and deep listening, a space to slow down, release the noise, and notice what might be waiting beneath it.

🍄 Milky Caps — fungi music from Amuthu
🎛️ Breadmodular — modular synthesis
🌌 Harithra & Nuvan live psychedelic visual animation
🔊 Rachel— healing sounds & looping soundscapes

There is no prescribed way to experience the evening.

Listen.
Move.
Be still.
Explore.
Or simply be there.

A pause. A breath. A moment of dormancy
Before the next cycle unfolds.

A little gathering at the CoCA Listening Room, where vinyl, sound and people meet.

Thank you to Bread Modular for bringing this lovely group together, DJs, vinyl lovers and sound explorers, with a visiting vinyl DJ from India joining us along the way. A little vinyl spinning, plenty of conversation, and a lovely exchange of sounds

MYCELIUM #4 — DORMANCY 🍄

Saturday, 3 October | 6.30 PM
CoCA–Symbiosis

What happens when we stop?

Between the breath.
Between the notes.
In the darkness before something begins to emerge.

For MYCELIUM #4 — Dormancy, we enter the quiet phase of the cycle — a space of stillness, listening and introspection.

Through fungi biosonification, music, visual imagery, deep listening, inner soundscapes and vocal exploration, we are invited to slow down, let go of old stories, and listen for what is waiting to emerge.

An immersive sonic and visual experience featuring:

🎛️ Breadmodular — modular synthesis
🌌 Harithra & Nuvan — live psychedelic visual animation
🔊 Rachel — healing sounds & looping soundscapes

As always, you’ll be invited to participate but there is no prescribed way to experience it. Listen, explore, move, be still, or simply be present.

A pause.
A breath.
A moment of dormancy.
Before the next cycle unfolds.
