Bath, your kitchen nightmare is over!🍞👹 (ad|pr)

Celebrity restaurants tend to get a lot of initial hype around opening and subsequently thrive or flop, so for this reason I’m always wary of visiting. I’d heard lots of positive things about the recently opened Gordon Ramsay @bskbath, and was looking forward to judging for myself.

Located inside the Hilton Hotel, the restaurant feels sleek, modern and luxurious, with seating for over 200 diners. The menu is extensive, packed with the classics you’d expect, and offers something for everyone.

The order:
G&T with ume plum sake
French Twist
Spicy tuna tartare
Wagyu meatballs with sourdough
Burrata with red pepper tapenade
“Idiot Sandwich”
Poke bowl with smoked salmon
Chocolate fondant tart
Lime cheesecake

Everything was fresh and well-cooked, and we couldn’t resist mopping up every last drop of that rich meatball marinara. The standouts for us were undoubtedly the starters and desserts, all served with the elegance and attention to presentation you’d expect from this style of dining.

Is it on the pricier side? Yes. But what really elevated the experience for us was the service. We were incredibly well looked after, with attentive staff and thoughtful little touches that made the afternoon feel less like a meal and more like an occasion.

If great service matters as much to you as good food, I’d definitely recommend a visit to satisfy your curiosity. And don’t worry -nobody’s going to call you an idiot sandwich!🥪

London day trip 🏙️✨

We started the day at Borough Market and, as always, had to make a stop at @tacospadre 🌮 We visit every time we’re at Borough Market because the tacos are just SO good! 🤤🌮 We also couldn’t leave without getting the famous chocolate strawberries 🍓🍫

We then headed to Gordon Ramsay @breadstreetkitchen in Limehouse for lunch, and the food was so good! 🍽️

After lunch, we walked around the Garden at 120 🌿 — a FREE rooftop garden with amazing views across London, before finishing the day at the beautiful Leadenhall Market.

😟 Food-wise, it is okay, though I expect more flavors and all given the price. The beef tartare is better than western version but not as good as the korean one. The sesame cracker that comes with it is pretty good though. The lobster toast is okay. The beef wellington portion is huge. Idk why the waitress says this much food won't be enough for 5; we were literally so full. Anyway, they didn't ask us how we want the beef cooked. We also think this is not as good as the one in Las Vegas. The gnocchi is okay, nothing special. The truffle slice in that dish doesn't have any taste, which is kinda odd because we have had truffle slice before and it has a pretty strong flavor. Miso cabbage is good while fries is meh. Service needs improvement given how expensive this place it. We had to ask for water twice, waited for a while for someone to come over to take our order. Unless you want the view, I wouldn't recommend going here.

Fun fact: this place serves the highest beef wellington in the world! 🥩🍷

This stunning restaurant opened in May this year, and was Gordon’s 100th restaurant opening globally!

The meal was excellent from start to finish - this is definitely one of the best beef wellingtons in London, and STP Guy himself rated the sticky toffee pudding a 9.6 which is incredibly high praise, and I can totally see why 🔥

Beautiful skyline views, delicious food, and a lovely dining experience. From the perfectly grilled steak to the crispy fish & chips, everything looked and tasted amazing.

A special shoutout to the team for accommodating our halal dietary requirements (you need to email them beforehand) and making sure we were well looked after. The service was great, and the overall experience was definitely worth it.

Great food, stunning views, and excellent service. Definitely one to add to your London dining list!

No more Kitchen Nightmares-Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is open and serving his iconic Beef Wellington alongside many other tasty dishes!

The restaurant which is situated inside the
@doubletreehiltonbath on Walcot Street, is a stylish and social brasserie serving chic British comfort food like pork belly, crispy fish & chips, and sticky toffee pudding🤩

I had a fabulous evening sampling dishes from their menu alongside what felt like bottomless champagne !! Everything was absolutely incredible (and I don’t say that lightly!).

I also have to highlight that the restaurant is family-friendly with a kids menu that offers a complimentary main course for children aged 10 and under on weekdays with a qualifying adult order. What an absolute bargain!
