Art of Sneakers Vol. 3 🎨👟
For Oakland Style Week, we activated a vacant, ex-shoe store and filled it with a pop up art exhibition highlighting sneaker designers, customizers and all around sneaker artists from the Bay Area 🌉 and beyond 🌍. The exhibition only lasted the weekend but we are building a community of sneakerheads and artists and bringing this artform into the spotlight where it belongs. Stay on the lookout for more events coming from our leader @solespacelab the incredible creative mind that has elevated sneaker culture in Oakland with a focus on Upcycling, Recreation and Sustainability.

Also big shoutout to @bruceleefoundation for the generous loans of these rare Bruce Lee Kicks and Raffle Items. The show wouldn’t have been the same without that touch from one of the greatest of all time!

And the @valkyries for their collaboration on the SneakHER design workshop which was featured as well!

Art of Sneakers will be back!

When we say this was a whole vibe… we mean it 💫

The Lovers & Friends Art Show + Pop-Up Market was nothing but love, creativity, and community from start to finish. Huge thank you to everyone who helped us bring this vision to life — artists, vendors, and performers, to every single person who came out to support.

Major love to @blu_butterfly_events @haywardartscouncil , and @drakesbarrelhouse for making this possible. The energy was unmatched with live music from @oblivioninspanish , sounds by @memorylane831 , and my guy @smurks_1 holding it down on the mic all day 🎶🔥

Shout out to Seon with @fijianbbq for keeping everyone fed, and to all the vendors who showed up with incredible setups and dope merch.

Most importantly, salute to the 30 Bay Area artists who came together to showcase their talent and make this event truly special. Every artwork purchased helped support the Hayward Arts Council, keeping art alive and thriving in our community.

Thank you to everyone who showed love — this wasn’t just an art show…
this was culture 🤎🎨

I couldn’t have done it without the help and support from @blu_butterfly_events , @haywardareahistory , and @craftpizzeria @sector19lasertag 🍕💪. The Art of Sneakers Vol. 2! Thank you @solespacelab !! Jeff, I’m so grateful to be included in such an inspiring celebration of sustainability, creativity, culture, and community.

Being amongst such talented creators, each with their own unique story and style, was such an honor. I love being able to connect with others who share the same passion for creating, designing, and sustainability. I hope attendees left feeling as inspired as I did.

Here's to creating!
