Bub Carrington understands the importance of keeping mental wellness at the center of everything you do.

In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, through his organization, Bub partnered with the Center for Scholars & Storytellers to create the second CSS Foster Care Playlist, a YouTube series featuring stories from people connected to the foster care system. @breakingchainsorg continues to empower young people with mentorship, support, and mental wellness resources.

Last month in Baltimore, we showed that the game is bigger than basketball. 🧠🏀

Young athletes had the chance to hang out with Bub Carrington, who spent the day engaging through meaningful conversations around mental health, mentorship, and on-court skill development. Hosted at Bub’s alma mater, St. Frances Academy, the event began with a powerful wellness session led by @breakingchainsorg before transitioning into on-court skills and drills.

It's Bub Scrubs Day for nurses at two of our hospitals!

@WashWizards guard Bub Carrington (@noigbub) donated 400 pairs of his custom-designed scrubs to associates at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Hospital staff plans to wear the scrubs on the seventh of each month in honor of Carrington’s jersey number.
