Day 25 of Brown Girls Money Moves

She was working at ESPN. Loved tennis. Moved to a new city. Tried to find a court, a partner, a coach.

She hit three walls. No court access. No one to play with. No affordable way in.

So she built the solution.

Meet @trishagoyal — founder and CEO of Break Sports. The platform connecting Gen Z and millennials to tennis, pickleball, and golf. Backed by Naomi Osaka’s coach. Partnered with AMEX and Bumble. Tory Burch Foundation Fellow.

That second-to-last slide in the pink shirt?

That was me two years ago—testing out my “swing,” fully knowing I had no idea what I was doing as I waited for the real pro to step in. Lol.🤷🏽‍♀️

I was on a modeling shoot in Orlando for a new luxury development.

They hired a male model who actually played golf. Me and the other model? We were just there to “watch” and smile for that scene.

Deep down, I didn’t just want to just look the part. I wanted to be the model who could also play. ⛳️

💯+ Adding value increases clients wanting to work with you.

And let’s be honest—golf comes with really cute outfits.

Fast forward to 2024, @breakthebirdie invited me as a content creator to a golf event—with a free lesson from a pro.

That invite sparked something.

And now? I’ve made the commitment to becoming HER.

The bookings where I get to show my new golf skills will come. @ralphlauren let’s go 😜

But the real flex? Being the kind of woman who actually keeps promises to herself.

And yes—golf is a sport.

But let’s be real—the posing coach in me was screaming “yaaaaaas” when the swing hit and people said “come through pose” 🤣 since golf form gives the perfect photo.

🗣️Comment one task you are accomplishing this week, month or year to become more of HER.

✅And for my aspiring models ready to invest in your growth, inbox me to book your 1:1 private model mentoring session with me
