Cam Sakelarios — @cam_sakelarios & @cs.studios.co

Cam is a creative director and founder of CS Studios — a creative agency built on one idea: strategic storytelling sells.

His passion for visual storytelling started at 12. What began as a hobby grew into a full-time career that’s taken him everywhere from Bali to Costa Rica to Guatemala. Along the way, he found his niche: luxury hospitality. Cam and his team produce strategic campaigns for luxury hotels and resorts that don’t just look beautiful — they’re designed to connect with guests and drive direct bookings.

CS Studios works with properties like Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, Saba Estate, and Bayview Hotel, leading each project from creative strategy all the way through post-production. The approach is simple: deep discovery, collaborative strategy, and content that converts.

He brings the principles of hospitality into every shoot — making clients, collaborators, and creative partners feel like they’re part of the process. Because great visuals start with trust.

3 setups, 2 models, 2 floors, 1 bottle of @drinkdulceoro

All under 2 hours.

A few weeks back, @bellis37 from @breakthrough_mg and I partnered up on a test shoot at @rochambeaubos . The goal: tie a tequila bottle into a scene with two models across two spaces.

@eric_salthouse came in as G&E, building a wall of negative and feathering two 400Wh strobes gelled to match ambient tones in the warmer bar scene. For the upstairs location — booth seating, windows in the back — a single strobe pushed light back toward talent. The bottle shot at the end used four different strobes to make a simple but slightly elevated product shot.

The Commons, Part 3 is in the books.

50 people packed the back patio. Founders, producers, content creators, agency owners, startup builders, authors, every archetype you can think of, all in one room.

The best part wasn’t the turnout. It was watching what happened once people walked in.

Real curiosity. People asking what the person across from them was working on, what they could learn, where they could help, what they could solve together.

The kind of room where you walk out with three new ideas and a coffee meeting on the calendar.

We’ve already got a month of them lined up.

Here’s the thing: over 100 people wanted in. We kept it intimate at 50. So we’re at a crossroads we’re happy to be at. Bigger space, or more events? Both sound great to us.

Huge thank you to the partners who made the room feel like home. @atomiccoffeeroasters rolled in their coffee cart and kept everyone caffeinated, @popupbagels hooked us up with bagels to fuel the morning, and @gene.bean laid down music under the conversations.

Common ground for uncommon people. If you want in on the next one, we’re hosting again on the 28th of June. Link will be going live this week to RSVP.

A barista pulling shots, bagels, smoothies, a morning café DJ, and the kind of people you actually want to spend a Sunday morning with.

Founders, freelancers, photographers, filmmakers, designers, writers, makers - and the friend, neighbor, partner, or new-to-the-city someone you’d bring along.
