“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Session 2, activity staff has been a blessing from day one of week 6-my last day of week 9
This session I learned

How much I love life guarding (and fundatory breaks)

How to help someone with a bow and arrow

Sleepovers are so fun

Being on the truck for yeti adventure is such a great improv situation

The farm is so peaceful and a beautiful way to connect with campers

Lab can be so fun if you make it fun

And biggest lesson of all, shower later

“The One Where the Camera was Carried All Summer” Season 20 Ep. 26

i truly don’t know how to describe the past two and a half months. i have been blessed to be able to work at such an amazing and wonderful place, getting to work with the kindest, most loving people! Barnabas is currently the closest i can get to heaven and i see it everyday in the camper’s smiles, love, and trust for God. God is so so good in the way He moves here, i am forever grateful for the amazing friends, campers, memories i have gained from Camp Barnabas this summer! no matter what happens within this next year Camp Barnabas and these amazing people will forever be my home and favorite place on earth!

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18‬

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”” Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ 🤍⛺️✨🤗

If “wonderfully made” excludes individuals with disabilities, then we’ve misunderstood our Creator!!! Life tip: if God calls you to move to MO & serve at a summer camp, YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY DO IT!!!! @campbarnabas let’s do this for 4 more weeks🤟🏻
