OK St. Louis! Since you elected me 2 years ago, I’ve been taking seriously my positions as your 6th Ward Democratic Committeeman & 5th Senatorial District Dem Committeeman.

And over these past few months I’ve been busting my butt to make sure you have the info you need to go cast your vote with confidence.

I’m pleased to say that no 6th Ward Dem voters will have any race on their ballot where they have to pick “the lesser evil”. We have (at least) one genuinely good candidate running in every single race on our ballots.

And I’ll humbly take a little credit for making sure that was the case. When I ran for Committeeman, my highest priority was to make sure that our neighbors had real primary candidate options and would never again be asked to vote for sexual abusers, bigots, or corporate sellouts.

But now it’s your turn. You have to remind your family, friends, followers, & group chats to go vote. Only you can make sure that the best candidates make it through to the next round, so that we have good options in November, too.

And here’s a cheat sheet! The members of the 6th Ward Democrats believe these are the best answers to every question. Save & share it with your friends to make their lives easier.

What a night. My send off party was more special than I could have ever imagined. The love in that room meant everything to me, and the turnout truly left me speechless.

I am so incredibly grateful to the Missouri board for believing in me and guiding me every step of this journey. To my sponsors, thank you for investing in my dreams and making this opportunity possible. And to my family, thank you for being my steady support system and my biggest cheerleaders through it all.

The most exciting part of the night? We hit and passed $10,000 dollars for St. Jude. Knowing that this community showed up not just for me, but for the kids and families at St. Jude, is something I will carry with me to nationals.

So grateful. So proud. So ready.

Yesterday, you could have supported any nonprofit in the country — yet 37 of you chose us. We just want to say thank you.

To everyone who gave, shared our posts or passed our emails along, we are genuinely blown away. You showed up in ways we did not expect, and we are so grateful.

Thank you for surprising us, cheering us on and reminding us how strong this community really is. Because of you, this support could translate into 48 hours of continuous legal advocacy for survivors — guidance through the court system, help with paperwork, emotional support and connection to representation.

As the last thank you, and as the last fun fact of giving Tuesday, our staff decided to show off their pets to remind you that we have a pet safe house! Your generosity is creating safety, clarity and hope for families who need it most.

Ten years ago I received the Outstanding Alumni Award at SEMO. It was an honor to attended Copper Dome Society Inauguration Dinner for Dr. Brad Hodson. The #befearless campaign launch was amazing, including him repelling from the ceiling of the ShowMe Center. I’m proud to he an alumni of @semissouristate and even more proud my grandson is attending as a junior. #semo #semoalumni #homecoming

Even though I was out of town this year, I want to thank everyone who made National Night Out a success across the 6th Ward and our city.

Public safety happens when neighbors know each other, look out for one another, and work together with our first responders. Every act of care—checking on a neighbor, supporting small businesses, reporting concerns—adds up to a stronger, safer St. Louis.

Block by block, street by street, we’re proving that nothing is stronger than community.
