A little music, a lot of talent, and a whole lot of community! ❤️✨ Our unplugged open mic night at Serendipity Bookshop was a success, thanks to all the amazing performers who came out to share their talents with us! 🎶

From beautiful performances to bringing people together, this is what our little bookshop is all about. 🥹📖

Thank you to everyone who showed up, performed, and made the night so special. Here’s to more nights like this! 💚

It's been a few weeks since I've posted an Artist Date. Life has been very full. Last night I attended an open mic at @serendipitybookshops downtown Taunton and was blown away by the talent and community. Here's the first of three poems I shared. Thank you to my cheering section who supported me and encouraged me even when my anxiety threatened to get the better of me and thank you to @breehippie for being a wonderful host.

Today’s forecast: sunshine, cold beer on our patio, and live music ☀️

Catch Bree Perry LIVE with Paul Barton and Dan Griffin at 6pm!

And catch this week’s kitchen specials while you’re at it:
🍕 Wok This Way Pizza
Teriyaki gochujang sauce, cheese blend, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, roasted mushrooms, and roasted broccoli, topped with honey ginger slaw and scallions. Bold, saucy, and unlike anything else on the menu.

🫓 Nightshade Naanwich
Warmed naan bread loaded with roasted eggplant, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, marinara, fresh mozzarella, and pesto aioli. Served with chips. Rich, hearty, and proof that vegetables can absolutely steal the show.

🍪 Scoop There It Is
A warm cookie baked in a cast iron, topped with a scoop of s’mores ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate, and caramel. Warm, gooey, and worth every single bite.

We had a busy weekend in downtown Taunton!

Friday night we hosted one of our favorite bands, The Reminisants at the beautiful Liberty & Union Park. The music was fabulous, the crowd was singing along and dancing. It was the perfect summer vibe.

Then, Saturday evening, we set out with a group of about 30 stellar Tauntonians to enjoy some Christmas in July antics at some of our downtown watering holes. It was epic! Thanks to everyone who joined us this weekend! And thanks to our neighbors who hosted us: Talisa’s on Main, El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant - Taunton The Ugly Duckling Restaurant & Bar Twenty Two UNION STRAW

We can’t wait for our next downtown adventures!

This Friday, July 31st we welcome Bree Perry & Friends for the third summer Concert in our series. 7-9 pm at Liberty & Union Park.

Saturday, Aug 1st we have the Downtown Midsummer Glow Sip, Shop & Stroll! Join us from 2-4 pm for cocktails & mocktails, live music, shopping, local art, a fun photo station, and more! Stay tuned for more details about what our participating downtown businesses have planned to make your midsummer Saturday GLOW!

Downtown Taunton is the place to be this summer. Join the fun!
