Doing laundry brings me joy because the smell of clean clothes reminds me of my mom and how she cared for me when I was younger. I hope that one day my kids will also associate me to the fresh smell of clean clothes 😊 We all know that motherhood is not easy, especially when it comes to getting our chores done while keeping up with our children’s day to day. I carefully choose the products I use so the happy version of myself is there for my kids, not the over worked one. As early as now I’ve been teaching Tristan important life skills like cooking, cleaning and, our fave chore to do together, LAUNDRY. 🧺

So of course, I’ve already accepted that we take longer than usual to do this task, but I appreciate how much Tristan wants to learn and help. I love that he is now a little bit more careful now with his spills and scrapes because he sees that it takes time to clean our clothes.
