Wanna know one of the things past attendees love most about RISE? The fact that RISE has TWO shoot alongs. Most workshops give you just one.

The other thing I do differently… I book real families. Big, beautiful, energy-filled families.

This crew had HOUR kids (plus another in the oven) and I was in my absolute element. Sooo much love, so many personalities, so much life in every shot. I adore capturing big families.

But I know for a lot of family photographers, a bigger family booking can feel intimidating. Where do we start? How do I get everyone in the shot perfectly? How do I keep the session flowing?

It’s actually something the women who’ve been through RISE tell me all the time… they love that I don’t just line up “easy” model families for the shoot alongs. Real families, real dynamics, real moments of chaos and love. That’s what builds the confidence you actually use on your next booking.

Yamba on the 2nd of October is your last chance to join RISE for 2026.

Comment or DM me “RISE” and I’ll send you the details x

Can I let you in on something? I’m a little bit fussy when it comes to booking houses for RISE.

Pretty isn’t enough. I need a house that’s going to teach you something.

This South Coast one was a dream for that. Big pockets of gorgeous light, but also some genuinely tricky harsh sun… which I was thrilled about. Because that’s what trips you up on real shoots.

Everyone walked away with portfolio images they were so proud of. That’s the goal, every time.

So if you’ve been watching these sneak peeks thinking “ok I need to come to RISE”… Yamba on the 2nd of October is it. The LAST RISE for 2026.

Two shoot alongs. A crazy cool house. And a full day of education where I hold nothing back.

SPEAKING OF BIODIVERSITY…close to 4000 plants were carefully procured to fit these voluptuous curves + the other planters, green roof areas and pots to the upper levels of the development.

This curvaceous, multi-tiered easterly terrace forms a ‘bushland buffer’ to an area of adjoining native bush. As such, the palette was heavily driven by Lane Cove Council’s local plant species list.

Key to us getting exactly wanted in terms of species and size was us, as Landscape Architects procuring the plants rather than having this role delegated to the builder or landscape contractor.

The second critical factor was us working with local growers for over a year out from the install date on growing up and caring for our precious green friends. Thanks to @sydneywildflowernursery & @treesimpact for facilitating this relationship and keeping calm when inevitably timings shifted and changed.

At the other end of the process, big high 5s to @leathwood_au for your patience + care with the install. We look forward to working with you on the ongoing tweaks to the maintenance of this creation over the coming year.

PRACTICAL COMPLETION DAY on this epic, 5 years in the making project. For some disciplines the work is largely done. For landscape, this is really just the beginning of the next journey...of things growing, adapting, and, all going well, reaching their full potential.

15 years of working with our incredible client @pathways_residences . It is their belief in how much landscape brings to the table that allows us to dream big and see the projects through all stages.

The biggest of hugs to my landscape partner and adored friend @brendanmoar for making every project we share such a delectable adventure.

A few days of stillness amongst the chaos of our lives was exactly what we needed to find our feet again. ✨
After Rob’s emergency appendix surgery in Singapore and our Europe trip getting cancelled, we really needed a little reset and recovery time. 💛
Our friends Brendan and Josh let us stay at their peaceful Airbnb in Burrill Lake… and tbh, we didn’t want to leave.
