6.24.26 "I wanted to fall in love..." but I went to the Killswitch Memories Tour with @flawed_mangoes & @scarlethouse instead. I wish I had the words to express to Evan that his music is the embodiment of Hope[core] for me. Two years ago was one of the hardest times of my life, and listening to the same music that carried me through that dark period felt so surreal. I loved the headlamps the band wore tonight. It really felt like they were the guiding light in the dark, making me forget the uncertainty I had been feeling these past few months—a momentary respite from the minutiae of life. It was just another Wednesday, but this one felt special. I could not have fathomed being here today, still making new friends and reconnecting with old ones—all while being in such a different place in my life: meeting Lily and her friend Alejandro; Alec letting me stand beside him and finding out we had a mutual; chatting with Brendan in the merch line and then taking goofy pictures with his friend after the show; seeing my best friend Kody for the first time in forever after spending the afternoon at H Mart with my friend Steve; and ending the night with Jake waiting for me and giving me a ride home with his dog, November ("Nova") Huff, in the backseat (lol). And special thanks to my coworker and friend Shamar, who kept his promise and brought me the 🥭🐻🐻‍❄️ earlier this week. Ordinary, but unforgettable. Even when the tears resurfaced as a reminder of the last two years, they feel lighter every time. Maybe it's because I've learned that sharing them isn't something to be ashamed of. People don't seem to mind; they've only ever met them with kindness. Whenever I feel lost and alone, the music too always seems to find me at the right time. I'm thankful I got to be a part of his first tour. Thanks to everyone for giving me a reason to smile a lot more lately. It's hard to be sad these days, even when I miss him. I thought I had lost the only person who really saw me and paid attention to me, but it only showed me how many others do notice—even in a room full of people. Also Scarlet House rocks, they really put us on that night!! 🤘🐱🐈‍⬛️

Wow, last night in Phoenixville was an unexpected gem. People came out to The Polish Club! What a sick venue. Thanks to all involved! 💎 @psychicstreetgang_rising has been busy building up a recurring show scene here through @polishclubshows with a lovely built-in crowd. Thanks to @thalivingthings for kicking off the night! And if you don’t already, go listen to @rewbie_rew. Local photographer / urban explorer @jml_photo got some great shots of us. And thanks to organizer @brendanmur7, who’s in this Gameboy filter with me. Feeling like we’re really getting into the swing of the tour sound... we’re very stoked to play with Philly’s own @flatwavesphl again, tonight in Lancaster PA at @zoetropolis with @babelmapmusic and @supervehicleband
