So grateful for everyone who came on Sunday to see TITLE PENDING at the Daredevil Arts Festival!

There were people in the audience from all parts of my life. And that is pretty typical when it comes to this show. My worlds collide. And it’s hard for me to explain what happens to my brain when I witness the crowd! 🤯

There were people in the crowd I’ve known for over 20 years. There were people I only met recently, and there were people I haven’t seen in years. There were people I met for the first time after the show, who were connected to someone I love. And there were people who have seen the show 2 or 3 times already! (And btw, they are currently debating on what to call themselves: “Heatherettes” or “Tysies”. Anyone want to vote??)

There were people I’ve worked with, written with, danced with, and created with. Not to mention people I’ve cried with, laughed with, and grown with, and people who have held me up during some very difficult times of my life, and who continue to cheer me on now.

So many good, good people in the crowd, and I cannot explain how grateful I am for each of them, and for the love I felt in that room! Thank you. 🩷

Finally, it’s crazy to me, after 23 shows, I am still terrible at taking pictures afterwards! A shot of the crowd would be nice! 🤦🏻‍♀️

So if anyone who came has any pictures, will you please send them my way? Maybe it’s time for me to hire a publicity person!? 🤔

And don’t forget, there is one more chance to catch the show this week! Performance #24 is coming up on Friday, July 17, at 7:30 PM.

Would love to see you there!

BTS of the latest CineMontage cover shoot, featuring @lauren_price13 🎞️

Thank you @niklasweikert for inviting me to join you on set for this one! Great experience & my first time on the Universal lot. We shot in one of the rooms where they mix down audio for films & tv. That's like a 200 track board Lauren is sitting at. Really cool space.

Was great working with @concannonart @swainston_studio & @brendarippee as well!

Sometimes it can be hard to know when, how, or if you should talk about Jesus at work. Our “How to be Christians in the Workplace and Not be Weird!” breakout will help you navigate that!

Have you heard of the Funeral Theory?

At the average funeral, only ten people cry.
We spend our whole lives pouring ourselves into others—striving, showing up, breaking our hearts open, holding everything together… and in the end, only ten people are emotionally impacted enough to cry.

And here’s the part that really got me:
The number one factor that decides how many people follow you to your burial?
The weather! If it’s raining, half won’t even bother. Why do we build our lives around keeping others comfortable?

So here’s your reminder:

✨ You are allowed to want more.
✨ You are allowed to do what makes you happy.
✨ You are allowed to build a life that fulfills you.

Even if your path looks nothing like what you imagined.
Even if people don’t understand it.
Even if it means changing direction.

You don’t owe your life to guilt, fear, or expectations.

You’re allowed to pivot.
Shake it up. Change the story.

At the end of the day… none of us are getting out of here alive anyway.
So live it for you ❤️‍🔥

Time for another single and mingle event celebrating everything summer. Spots are limited so RSVP-ASAP. Location will be given upon confirmation.

Event is in Ventura and we do have plans to go out to downtown Ventura after the event. This is a no pressure get together for singles who are just wanting to meet others and make new friends, but finding love is always a bonus ❤️

BLOOPERS with BOSSY BIRTHDAY BRENDA! Thank you and Happy Birthday to the director behind the director @brendarippee for keeping us on track, and making sure we get our lines right!
This is a throwback to when I got the beautiful opportunity to sit down with Sharon Gless, and her husband, Barney Rosenzweig - the creator and star of the TV show “Cagney & Lacey.” We were trying to get a couple of promotional videos made, but we kept laughing and forgetting our lines.
