Designing refined, personal environments. Bi-Coastal | 20 years experience
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I first became aware of, and interested in, architecture when three of my college roommates studied design of the environment. I would spend hours with them in the totally inspiring architecture building learning about how two dimensions can transform into three dimensions, and what that can feel like, as well as why it mattered. It was magical. My first conscious exposure to design happened with the Holt Quentel exhibition at Stux Gallery when I worked there as the archivist. She created an exhibition where something I never even knew existed was used to prove what the art she made was not. Both of those experiences changed my whole view of the world. It was then in my very early 20s that I started to subscribe to Architectural Digest. Each month I would eagerly anticipate the arrival of the glossy, gorgeous magazine into my little apartment mailbox.

Thus it is beyond all of my wildest dreams to have my home featured in Architectural Digest this week! The photos taken by Ye Rin Mok are beyond gorgeous! And I am profoundly humbled by Morgan Goldberg for telling my story! This is a big one for me. For many, many reasons. I’m sharing the link in my bio and sending love and gratitude to everyone who helped make this space what it is including designer Jessica Brende, and all of the artists and designers and authors who created what I have the profound privilege to live with and steward!
