Well, this one didn’t go our way. Only had one 2.5lber, all our fish seemed to move and the ones we were able to find we just couldn’t make bite. Finished the derb in 21st, hurts to end it this way but at the same time that’s fishing. Still had an awesome experience this week and won’t ever take it for granted. Huge thank you to everyone who helps us chase our dreams and lets us go do this! @texasboatworks @calledtocast @insurewithhopesf and of course our parents for always supporting everything we do.

Heck of a weekend! Had our TBNYSE championship on lake Tyler and it was a very interesting tournament to say the least. Had 16lbs both days landing me in 6th place. Had the opportunities both days for 20+ lbs but just couldn’t capitalize on my very limited big bites. Had an amazing practice with even a 10lber the week before and a couple other donks…….. also I officially won AOY for the 25-26 season! Had an awesome season fishing TBNYSE with 2 wins and my lowest place being 8th. Beyond blessed this year to do what I did both on and off the water!

Thats a wrap. Fished my last high school tournament on the lake where it all started just a few years ago. Not the last tournament of my season but the last one on Rayburn. I had a two day total of 27lbs and some change to finish in 12th place at the DETX championship on Rayburn. Definitely not the outcome I would’ve liked or had the opportunity for, but it was a fun tournament. Watched a 5lber come off a pile and eat my jerkbait with my eyes the first day. On day two I found the biggest shad spawn I’ve ever seen in my life, which I fished hard for about an hour with a fish almost every cast. Lost some of the right ones but that’s how it goes sometimes.

I finished 3rd place in AOY points this year behind two of my best friends. It’s been great fishing against them over the years, so congrats to them!

Thank you to everyone that makes DETX fishing possible, without all of you I wouldn’t be where I am today. You guys have provided a great way for young anglers to grow and learn the ins and outs of competitive fishing at a young age. Thank you very much for that!

Been waiting on this one for a long time!! Today me and my partner @bradysales2019 got our first win. Rayburn was fishing tough today we put our heads down and grinded it out, crazy this was won with 14.7 lbs. Couldn’t have done this without The Lord above or any of my sponsors behind me and especially without my partner and captain, thank you all helping in this journey, heck of a way to start up a season. #givegodtheglory #fyp #bassfishing #fishingisacontactsport
