There is nothing more motivating than the fear of being average.

Envy is often just a sign that you ought to be doing more with your life.

Want things without feeling entitled to them. Give without keeping score. Pursue things without demanding a particular outcome. And when something good comes into your life, don’t take it for granted :)

Yeah this video is funny, but I’m dead serious when I say box breathing has changed the way I handle pressure.

Before some of the biggest wrestling matches, sales calls, approaching women, or even days where I’m just over stimulated and my mind won’t stop racing, I use it. When your body is highly stressed, you become more reactive and it gets harder to think clearly. Slowing down and controlling my breathing helps bring my body out of that “fight or flight” state so I can actually think and perform instead of reacting emotionally.

Ive had moments where my anxiety is at a 10, I get on the floor or sit in silence, do four DEEP & LONG breaths of box breathing, and I come out with my anxiety at a 2. I’ve used this before stepping onto some of the biggest stages of my wrestling career, and now I’ll use the same shit before a hard conversation that I’ve been overthinking or avoiding.

Your ability to control your mental state changes how you perform in EVERY area of your life and I legitimately do this every day.
