Nothing prepares you for this even though you know it’s coming. Today, we dropped our firstborn off at college and my heart is feeling ALL the emotions.

She’s not just our oldest, she’s the one who made us parents, our first baby, and somehow she’s grown into this incredible young woman who is now ready to start a life of her own. Still just wishing I could freeze time though.

She’s ready for this, and the best part is that she’s thriving and smiling and has met the most amazing friends already and her Water Polo team and Coach have been super welcoming. The events they have had this weekend for the students and parents aren’t nothing short of amazing. Love this Christian community!

I tried my best to hold back the tears, because this isn’t goodbye. It’s the beginning of something beautiful.

Keep being amazing, sweet girl. We’ll be cheering you on every single step of the way!

This “last one” hit hard. One last ride with this Thunder team that has given her so much 💙

This Junior Olympic tournament marks the end of an incredible club water polo journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. So proud of everything she’s accomplished and the friendships and the memories she’s made.

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but we can’t wait to watch Sienna represent Team USA and compete in Italy next week! And College right around the corner. We’re so proud of you.
