To the Love of My Life,

Somehow it’s been 10 years. And somewhere between the day we said “I do” and this one, we built a whole life.

Two incredible boys. Big dreams. Changes. Degrees. Trips. Wins. Losses (learnings). Inside jokes and looks that tell a whole story nobody else knows about. A few arguments we definitely don’t need to revisit 😅. And more memories than I could ever fit into one post.

Through all of it, there has been you.

Love Is Lit has been our thing for a long time, but I understand it differently now.

After ten years, this love has some mileage on it (in a good way). We’ve seen each other at our best, our worst, exhausted, excited, scared, ambitious, stubborn, successful, unsure and everything in between.

We’ve grown up together. Raised children together. Watched dreams become reality and helped each other dream bigger when they didn’t.

And somehow, we kept figuring it out together.

Breonna, I see so much more today than the woman I fell in love with.

I see my partner. An incredible mother. An amazing friend. My person.

I see the sacrifices, patience, grace and all the things you carry without announcing them. I see the way you love our boys and love me, even when I make that harder than necessary.

There is no one else I could have built this life with.

I really love our life.

Not because everything is always easy or great, but because we’ve been intentional about building it and it’s ours. The beautiful parts. The messy parts. All the parts.

I love that you’re still the first person I want to tell when something good happens. I love watching you be a mother, traveling the world with you, laughing with you, and seeing all that we’ve become while knowing we’re still growing.

We’ve loved each other through a whole lot of life already, and somehow there is still so much left to live.

Ten years ago, I chose you. Knowing what I know now, I’d still choose you. Every time!

Happy 10th wedding Anniversary, to the love of my life.

Ten years in and I think the flame is doing just fine.

Remember, being happy does not mean you have it all.

Because real happiness is not loud
it is not perfect
it is not the highlight reel.

It is quiet moments of “this is enough for today.”
It is realizing you survived things that once felt impossible.
It is building, healing, growing, all at the same time.

And still letting yourself feel joy in the middle of it.

In a world that constantly pushes “more,”
choosing gratitude is powerful.

Choosing to see your life as it is
not just for what it lacks
is where peace begins.

✨ Reminder: You are allowed to feel happy before everything is figured out.
