A little throwback to our July visit to The Freight Shed in Baddeck! ☀️🍻Zach and I went for dinner with my parents, and it was our first time visiting!

We lucked out with the beautiful weather and got to sit outside, which was perfect for a summer evening!
I started with the seafood chowder, which was delicious! For our mains, I ordered the chicken burger and Zach went with the blackened fish tacos. Of course, we shared hehe! Both were so good! 😍

I also enjoyed a Black Angus beer from Breton Brewing 🍺Everything was great, and we had such a lovely evening! If you’re visiting Baddeck, definitely add this spot to your list. We’ll absolutely be back!

A scream in the distance, a scratching at the door. Our SEVENTH Annual Blind Test Pumpkin Beer contest has concluded. Garrison has taken gold for the first time! Long running champion Nine Locks was omitted due to their Nitro offering, opening the door for a new face to climb the podium. An acrostic poem to conclude this season: Homicide alligators, lanterns, licorice, ooo weird Ernest. EEK! Necromancy. As always, thanks for all contenders for their spooky brews. 🐺💀💀

A few postcards from Cape Breton. ⛳️🍂

What a way to wrap up a summer of golf.

We headed to @cabotcapebreton with @coolbetcanada to capture content at the BMW PGA Scramble, and somewhere along the way, this trip became a pretty cool reminder of where this whole golf content journey is heading.

@highlandslinks reached out and offered to host our foursome for a round. The last time I was there, I was working behind the camera and didn’t get to play. Getting to experience that magical place with some buddies was pretty special, and having a course reach out to offer that opportunity for the first time felt like a step in the right direction.

This summer, I’ve been fortunate enough to play a decent amount of “free golf” in exchange for content, using those opportunities to experiment, build a system, and create a bit of a pilot for what I hope becomes a bigger part of my career.

By the end of the summer, I’d been paid three separate times to head to Cabot and shoot golf content.

Getting paid to travel, play golf, meet people, and tell stories through a camera? That’s starting to feel like a dream come true that I didn’t even know I was dreaming.

I’ve fallen deeper and deeper in love with this game. The courses, the friendships, the stories, and even the ridiculous weather we battled at Cabot. 😂 There’s something about getting through a round like that together that makes it even more memorable.

I’m sitting on a ridiculous amount of video content from this summer, and I’m excited to spend the winter sharing these stories and building momentum for next season.

Can’t wait to see which fairways this journey takes me to next.

And to everyone liking, commenting, sharing, or messaging, thank you. It all helps feed the algorithm and, admittedly, my ego just enough to convince me I’m on the right path. 😂

Lots more to come. 🎥⛳️
