Malaysia… That sounds good, Malaysia, yeah. Kuantan is nice. I’ll build a home on a secluded beach. Finally get around to the countless books I bought but never read. I’ll go through them page by page, like I’m taking back all the time I’ve lost.

I don’t even know where to begin with this season. The highs and lows still feel heavy, and it’s hard to sit with all the things that could’ve or should’ve been. I went from starting almost every game to being suspended and left on the bench for almost all of the district tournament — and that hurt in a way I didn’t expect. I thought I was prepared for a rollercoaster, but this was so much more than that. We lifted a district trophy together, walked into a state play-in game full of belief, and then watched something no one imagined slip away in front of us. To my seniors and my coaches — thank you for leading us, pushing us, and not giving up on us. I won’t forget what this year taught me. Now I look ahead to my last one next fall, hungrier than ever.
