In a data-driven training environment, it can be easy to fall into the trap of chasing metrics.

In our training environments, we have to remember WHY we are training. We train to get better at the game — not to get better at the metrics or models.

Metrics and technology can be extremely valuable tools to help us work toward our goals. But they can’t become the end goal. When we blindly chase metrics without understanding how they should transfer to competition, we can lose sight of what actually matters.

In a recent episode of the #KEEPꓘLIMBING podcast on @youthbaseballmidwest, Brett addressed this topic, along with the benefits of blending an old-school approach with the new-school tools available to us today.

Train for the game. Use the data to guide the way.

Most pitchers think they are training hard… but they’re getting stuck or not actually developing what they need to reach their goals.

Random workouts. Generic throwing programs. Chasing velocity tips on Instagram.
That’s why most athletes stay the same year after year.

At Premier Pitching, we build individualized remote and hybrid training programs based on movement quality, biomechanics, pitch quality, and strength & power development.

Our remote athletes are adding velocity, improving movement efficiency, increasing pitch quality, and staying healthier throughout the year — without needing to live near our facility.

You can assess at our world class HQ in St. Louis, Missouri or remotely through our software to utilize our coveted comprehensive assessment approach, trusted by many Pro organizations and power 4 schools across the country. Your coach will evaluate your video and metrics, design an individualized training program and follow up with regular coaching calls to stay on track.

This is access to elite pitching development — from anywhere in the world.

Every coach gets into this profession for the same reason:

To make an impact.

But growth creates a challenge.

As your athlete count increases, maintaining the same level of individualization, communication, assessment quality, and coaching oversight becomes harder and harder. Most organizations eventually face a choice:

Scale the business or protect the quality.

BOOST was built to eliminate that tradeoff.

BOOST isn’t designed to replace coaches. It’s designed to amplify them.

By centralizing assessment data, athlete monitoring, training delivery, communication, and performance insights, coaches gain the systems necessary to create consistent, high-level experiences across their entire organization without sacrificing the individual athlete.

The result?

➡️ More athletes served without lowering standards.
➡️ Better coach-to-athlete communication.
➡️ Clearer development pathways.
➡️ Stronger retention and trust.
➡️ More time spent coaching and less time managing spreadsheets, documents, and administrative tasks.

The organizations that make the biggest impact aren’t always the ones with the largest facilities, biggest social media following, or most coaches on staff.

They’re the organizations that build repeatable systems that allow great coaching to scale.

That’s what BOOST solves.

Because the goal isn’t simply to grow a business.

It’s to create an ecosystem where every athlete receives a better experience, every coach has better tools, and every decision is driven by objective information rather than guesswork.

Scale with integrity.
Coach with clarity.
Create a larger impact.

That’s BOOST. Read more and book a demo online at https://premierpitching.com/pages/boost

What if one platform could help you assess, develop, communicate, and recruit at a higher level?

Our President, @brettgraves5, sat down to break down BOOST — the system we’ve built to help players, coaches, academies, and organizations implement a truly comprehensive development model.

BOOST is more than software.

It’s a:
• Assessment platform
• Player development system
• Certification and education hub
• Communication tool for coaches and athletes
• Recruiting and reporting platform
• Performance tracking ecosystem

From movement quality and biomechanics to workload management, testing data, player reports, and long-term development strategies — BOOST was built to connect every part of the process in one place.

The goal isn’t just collecting data.
The goal is helping coaches make better decisions and helping athletes develop faster.

We’re building the future of baseball performance infrastructure.

As a kid, I dreamed about hearing my name in The Show.

After my journey as a professional baseball player came to an end, I honestly never thought that dream would become a reality.

But God had a different path planned.

Hearing my name mentioned by @alexmcohen during a @cubs broadcast was surreal.

A reminder that even when one dream ends, God can still use your gifts in ways you never imagined.

Grateful to @riley_martin16 and @brettgraves5 for trusting me to help bring this story to life.
