POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sights and sounds of my first back country day (sans 🚁).

Me and 5 dudes.
7:15am start. Noon finish.
2,350 vertical feet gained over 6.4 miles.

It was *a lot* of try hard. I had some baby giraffe moments. The snow was great in some spots and super heavy in others.

And, yup. I’m def doing this again.

40th birthday looks 😆 I mean, this is the epitome of “I’m a dirt bag who cleans up pretty good.”

Some have called us restless, crazy, idealistic, perfectionists, way too busy, and “desperately in need of a day off and a hair wash”, but you can just call us Team Enji. 😌

Holy shit. That was AWESOME.

My first heli ski trip is in the books and it was such an experience. But (in all honesty), I don’t think I really let it all sink in while it was happening because I shed some tears while putting together this reel.

Why? Cuz the startup life hardens you. And the reality is I’ve had to turn off my emotions a lot to do the work that needs to be done.

And I had to ski some shit that (if given the choice) I probably would have opted out of. Cuz it was committing. It was steep. But I had to do it so (again) emotions turned off.

BUT, I also cried a bit because I got to share this experience with Brett and some of my friends, as someone whose love language is quality time, this takes the cake.

⛷️ Also, I fuckin’ did it. I skied stuff that scared me. I skied some really hard conditions. I ripped the shit outta the best powder runs I might ever ski in my life.

And I sang Pink Pony Club really loud when I was doing it!

🎉 Thank you @cmh_heli and the Revelstoke team for the most amazing trip!

Last week was rough. The cure? 6 days in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. Hit Snowbird, Snowbasin and Brighton this time with @mstinadixon @taylrd_designs @bretthol . We also got to ride a bobsled at the Utah Olympic Center.

Day 3. Big ride. 12 miles of mostly technical rock gardens and rushing stream crossings. I won’t lie, I’m exhausted. Those beers never tasted so good.

Day 2. Downhilling mountain bike laps + snowboarding under blue skies and warm temps. Another 2 sport summer day in Mammoth.
