Someone called me an acquired taste last night, and honestly, they nailed it…apparently I’m the emotional equivalent of a dish you need to try twice ( a compliment coming from me!)

I cry at lunch with my girls. I pee my pants laughing at movies with my husband. I feel everything deeply, loudly, and everything in between.

I’m not for everyone. Thank goodness. I’d hate to be the human equivalent of plain toast.

HAPPY BiRtHDaY BRETT!

I married a man who puts everyone before himself.
This year, for his birthday, he somehow managed to spoil me with a new (old) car. He bought our family a home (second in 3 years), takes care of all his friends whenever we go out and never asks for anything in return.

He is the most selfless man I know. Even when he is trying to fire a client, he can’t bring himself to do it because, “They’re good people.”

I married a man who wakes up at 5:00 every morning and works endlessly to make my life easier (even when he wants to kill me) to spoil me and give me everything I could ever dream of for our family. Even if that dream is a green kitchen.

He never stops. He is truly amazing, and he deserves to be celebrated every single day.

If you know Brett, you’re lucky. If you are loved by Brett, you are even luckier.

Happy birthday forever bestie. I can’t wait till you shut up your hearing aids on me one day.

Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life, yup I said it!

The man who has taught me patience, reminding me that whatever we’re waiting for is usually worth the wait. He’s taught me to live life to the fullest and to enjoy every season while we can.
This man leaves the house at 4:45 every morning and still does everything he can to make it home for bedtime. We are so lucky to call you Daddy. Your work ethic, your passion, and your ability to dream big are unmatched. Two houses, three kids, a dog, an expensive wife, and a love for boats… we are probably destined to be broke. 😂 But one thing that has always been perfectly aligned between us is what truly matters most.
You are so incredibly proud to be a dad. You’re always telling your friends that fatherhood is the greatest part of life and that you never really understood its meaning before. I’m just happy I got to make a ‘small’ contribution in helping that dream come true. 🤰 🤮
