‼️WEEK 4 in AMSTERDAM‼️

I finally got to experience 90° with no AC! I will always remember that I was in the Netherlands when there was record high temperatures

So with the heat on Friday, I went to the beach in Zandvoort. The beach was so lovely and the water was perfect temperature except there was a bunch of jellyfish so I was really scared while I was swimming around 🌊🪼

I got to spend Saturday and Sunday with two of the We Besties. Brevin and Lily are on their own adventure around Europe and stopped by Amsterdam. I got to show them my favorite parts of the city and then experience new things with them. We went to the Van Gogh Museum 🎨 a wine bar 🍷 and the Red Light District 🚨

On Tuesday, I went to this Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder Museum which is a 17th-century canal house with a complete church in the attic. It was super cool that the museum was the experience itself, and it was very informative

Today is Keti Koti which is an annual celebration that marks Emancipation Day in Suriname and so I got to attend the festival that was happening in Museumplein to celebrate. Before that I was at a Borrel with my cohort

Another amazing week in Amsterdam and this weekend I am taking an adventure so wish me luck to not fall down any stairs 🍀

Sharing this now at 5 year stem cell transplantiversay.
It never will get old for me! We are so grateful to God for this miracle which has allowed Traejen to live a life serving and advocating as he goes to college. I can’t help that notice that he is wearing his Seahawks shirt during the stem cell transplant. To those that suffer from kidney disease along with their families, we see you. Don’t give up hope!

We visited the Giving Machines tonight at the Village.
So glad to have this opportunity in our valley for another Christmas Season!

He did it!
Brevin graduated from the University of Utah with Bachelor’s in Science-Nursing! He will continue to work at the University of Utah Hospital on the Transplant floor where he did his internship this semester.
He will continue on his journey to become a Nurse Practitioner in the near future.
We are so proud!
Go Utes!
