OUR WEBSITE IS OFFICIALLY LIVE! 🥹🎉

What started as two mums wanting to help other creators grow and share the small businesses we’ve loved experiencing with our kids has somehow turned into something much bigger.

Because we genuinely believe that when creators and small businesses support each other, we can do some pretty epic things.

So, we’ve built a website! 💻

www.reelperthect.com.au

A completely FREE space for Perth families, creators and businesses to connect, discover and support each other.

Here’s what you’ll find:

☕ Real reviews from our Perth family creators

📅 Events and activities across Perth and beyond, with the next three months already added!

📍 Family-friendly guides and recommendations

🤎 A business directory featuring our Reel PERTHect community (coming soon!)

We’re slowly adding our creators, reviews and businesses, so there’s plenty more to come.

Want to be part of it? Whether you’re a creator or small business, the more the merrier! Businesses can complete the form through our Instagram bio.

Now, a little disclaimer…

We’re literally just two mums building something we believe in, and we’re still figuring out exactly where it’s going that includes building the website.

FYI we are NOT a website developer or coder, so if something breaks, we’re calling it part of the learning process 😂

The website is a work in progress. We’ll keep testing, improving and growing as we go.

For now, it’s completely free we hope it to always be free and we’re just excited to see what we can create together.

Because there’s room for everyone here, and when we support each other, pretty amazing things can happen.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for Reel PERTHect!

Love, Kat & Adriana 🫶🏼

Because fuck it, why not show everyone how I’m doing it so we can figure it out together?

I’m building three businesses, Brewed Socials, The Brew Club Perth and Reel PERTHect, all while raising two young girls and still working part-time.

And I’m choosing to build them publicly. The ideas, the decisions, the wins, the mistakes and all the messy bits in between.

Not because I’ve got it all figured out. Far from it. But because I’m tired of the idea that we have to choose between being ambitious, being present mothers and having a life outside of work.

The traditional 9–5 doesn’t work for every family, and I don’t want to spend the next 20 years trying to squeeze motherhood around a working week that wasn’t designed with it in mind.

So I’m building something different. And through The Brew Club, I’m creating space for other women to build their own version of that too.

I want more women to see what’s possible, learn from what works (and what doesn’t) and realise they don’t have to wait until their kids are older to start.

I’m not sharing this because I’ve made it. I’m sharing it because I’m in the middle of making it happen.

And I’d rather we all figured it out together than kept everything we’ve learnt to ourselves.

This day was productive maybe filming the day has that effect 😂

The funny thing about being a mum to two young girls & a social media manager is that no two days ever look the same. Combine the two and it’s twice the chaos 🤪

But as someone with ADHD, a creative brain and a love for doing a million things at once, it actually works for me. 💻 🧠 🌶️

Today was a goodie, catching up on admin before heading out to scout locations and plan the run sheet for an upcoming client content shoot.

As much as I love days like this, I also know I couldn’t work alone every day. It’s one of the reasons I started @thebrewclubperth and being able to work alongside other women in business.

I want to share more of the reality of juggling motherhood and business. The productive days, the chaotic days and everything in between. 🤟🏻

Because today was a good day, but they’re definitely not all like this. And I’m all for showing all sides, not just the highlight.

And if you’ve been thinking about starting your own business around motherhood, give it a go. You might just surprise yourself with what you’re capable of and where it could take you. ✨

“You’re so motivated.”
“How do you have the energy for all of this?”
“You’ve got so much going on.”

Thanks, we’ll all it “motivation” 🤪

Definitely not the fact I’m currently functioning on very little sleep, far too much coffee, stimulant medication helping my brain feel less like it’s walking through concrete, and the ability to start another task before I’ve finished the first one.

I work part-time, I’m building a business, I have two side projects and two small children, so at this point I think my brain has just accepted that we live in organised chaos now.

Am I motivated? Absolutely.

Do I also regularly open my laptop to do one thing, remember three completely unrelated things, make a coffee, answer a message, start another idea and then wonder what I originally sat down to do?

Also absolutely.

There is a genuine reason behind all of it though. I’m building towards more flexibility, more time with my kids and a life that actually works for us. So for that I am motivated.

But for now?

ADHD.
Anxiety.
Coffee.
Medication.
Approximately four hours of sleep.

✌🏻

When’re my motivated mums at?

ONE WEEK TO GO — LET’S GET BEHIND ZaZa’S LEGACY!

We’re in the final week before our very first ZaZa’s Legacy Annual Quiz Night, and we’re asking Perth to get behind us and help make this night a ripper!

We’ve already helped save four lives, equipped schools with lifesaving devices and supported families, but there’s still plenty more to do. The money raised will help us keep growing, reach more schools, save more lives and expand our support for bereaved families.

🎟️ $25 per person | Table of 8 only $190

No team? No worries! Grab an individual ticket and we’ll chuck you in with some other legends on the night.

And check out the amazing local support we’ve already received!

🎁 $200 Salon Voucher
🎨 4 × Artwork pieces
🛟 2 × ZaZa’s Edition LifeVac devices
🧺 $300 Arbonne Hamper from Nicole

🎁 ELG Australia Hospitality Services Gift Voucher
💼 Tracey Franco – Mortgage, Loan & Financial Services

📱 Kat from Brewed Socials – donating her social media services

Honestly, this is what community is about. People putting their hands up, businesses getting behind a small charity and everyone playing their part.

A massive thank you to Sophie and Nathanael Pickett from The Inspired Collective for co-raising this event with us.

Businesses — there’s still time! If you can donate a voucher, hamper, product, service or raffle prize, we’d love to hear from you.

And to everyone else — grab a ticket, get your mates together, share the post and come have a bloody good night for a bloody good cause.

One week to go. Let’s fill the room and finish strong!

For ZaZa. For families. For the lives we can still save.

October is looking GOOD 👀

Two dates to get out of the house, get around other women in business and actually make some progress on the stuff you keep pushing down the list.

One day to work + connect.
One day to create + get visible.

Both links are in bio.

You don’t have to build your business alone.

Our Co-working Day is four hours to bring your laptop, your to-do list and finally get some uninterrupted work done alongside other female founders.

There’ll be time to work, chat, meet new people, bounce ideas around and, because I’ll be there too, ask me any of those social media questions you’ve been sitting on.

No awkward networking. No agenda packed with speakers. Just a room full of women getting sh*t done together.

Tuesday 13 October | 10am–2pm | Subi Space | $20

Link in Bio 🎟️

If “I need more content” has been on your to-do list for months, this is your day.

The Brewed Socials Content Day gives you four hours inside a professional studio with multiple styled sets and only five businesses per session.

Come away with a proper bank of B-roll, reels, photos and talking content you can actually use for weeks afterwards.

You’ll get a prep guide + shot list before the day, plus me there throughout to help with ideas, angles, filming and those inevitable “what should I create next?” moments.

Friday 23 October | Bassendean
Early Bird $179
Professional content upgrade +$99

Link in Bio Early bird nearly all gone 🔥 🎟️

A huge thank you to the businesses behind The Brew Club.

A special shout out to @the_inspired.co , our Founding Supporter. Their contribution plays such a big part in helping these events come to life every mobth and keeping The Brew Club growing so we can help as many female founders as possible.

We’re also so grateful to @thatcontentchic_ and @sageandwildco for being part of what we’re building.

Lastly we’re honoured to be able to support @thealiyahmaefoundation every little bit helps and we’re just happy to support an important cause 💜

Because when women in business support other women in business, we can make sure every woman gets a seat.

I think somewhere along the way, content started feeling like another thing we had to be doing “properly”.

You should be filming more.
You should be showing your face.
You should be doing trends.
You should be documenting everything.

And suddenly you’re not just running your business anymore, you’re constantly thinking about how to turn every part of it into content.

If you can great, but if you don’t want to do certain things … you don’t have to.

You can recreate moments later. You can film yourself “working” when the client call has already finished. You can batch your B-roll. You can talk to camera one week and decide you’re sick of your own voice the next.

The goal isn’t to become really good at performing your life for social media.

It’s to find a way of creating that you can actually keep doing.

Because the people who look like they’ve suddenly figured it all out probably didn’t suddenly figure it out at all.

They’ve been testing, posting, changing things, starting again, learning what works and slowly building momentum.

You’re allowed to be in that part too.

Make the content. Learn from it. Keep going.

And stop making it harder than it needs to be.

And yes that’s my Huntrix PJs on the bathroom counter cause I’m about to put my kids to bed and veg out in comfort 🍿

Sometimes the only thing standing between you and the next connection, opportunity, friendship or idea is deciding to actually walk into the room.

You don’t need to know everyone.
You don’t need to feel completely confident.
And you definitely don’t need to wait until someone personally invites you.

Because the women you meet, the conversations you have and the opportunities that come from them only happen when you give yourself the chance to be there.

Put yourself in the room.

The Brew Club Mums in Business play date is tomorrow at 10am.

Bring the kids if you have them. Still come along if you don’t. This room is for mums in business, whatever that looks like for you.

Tickets are $15 and include a coffee.
Kids are free, just make sure you register them so I have numbers.

And while you’re there, take advantage of having me in the room and ask me anything you want about socials, content or showing up online.

Tickets are capped, so if you’ve been thinking about coming, don’t leave it too late.

Come along. You already have a seat.
