Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! ❤️

For Day 7 of my Thanksgiving shout-outs, I wanted to do something a little different and give a huge thank you to the @h.i.v.e.tribe community.

When I joined the Hive Tribe, I don't think I realized just how much it would change my reading. I've discovered so many indie authors and books that I might never have come across otherwise, and I've found myself getting excited about things I hadn't really explored before. My TBR has grown A LOT, and apparently I have absolutely no self-control when it comes to indie books and a good deal! 😂

But honestly, the books are only part of it. The people in this community have been so welcoming and supportive, and I've made so many friends through the Hive Tribe. I'm thankful for the connections I've made, the authors I've discovered, and all the books and excitement we've been able to share. I love being part of a community that gets so excited about discovering and supporting indie authors!

So, this Thanksgiving, I really want to say thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into the community, for being so supportive, and for making this such a fun and encouraging place to be. Joining the Hive Tribe has genuinely changed my reading journey, and I'm so grateful I became part of it.

I also want to give a special thank you to the admins who put their time and effort into making the Hive Tribe what it is. Thank you for creating a space where readers and indie authors can come together, support one another, and share their love of books. This community wouldn't be what it is without you!

And if you're an indie book lover, someone who's looking to get into indie books, or an indie author looking for a welcoming and supportive community, I definitely recommend checking out the Hive Tribe! You might just find yourself discovering some new favourite books and authors along the way!

Spooky Word Stack: CURSED

This very nice, very evil stack is brought to you by @readsbyrew, who tagged me in a spooky word challenge. His Monday stack was pretty spooky, but you know what’s even spookier? Being cursed.

Thankfully, four years ago the king of curses, @danhausenad, helped uncurse me and keep me safe. But I always keep a pocket of human monies nearby, just in case I need to bribe Danhausen to curse my enemies. 💰🦷

Today is Day 2 of my Canadian Thanksgiving shout-outs!

Today I want to give a shout-out to some of the Bookstagrammers I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know, some of whom I’m lucky enough to call friends, and who I’ve loved following along with.

There are so many amazing people in this community, and these are some of the accounts that I’ve really enjoyed having on my feed. Whether we’ve chatted, shared book recommendations, or I just love seeing what they’re reading, I’m really glad I found them!

Last night I had the privilege of seeing @mrsethring and @johnbierceauthor have a discussion at @loveandlegendsbooks and it was amazing. Hearing them talk about their processes, which out of print $250 reference books they need to get, thoughts on Tropes and the direction of progression and litRPG was so cool.
