Another year around for this Gen X kid. So grateful for everything l’ve been able to experience in life and everyone l’ve been able to experience it with. As the French say, “Avoir le cul bordé de nouilles...” which translates to something like “my ass is full of noodles.” which is somehow supposed to mean that I am happy and content. Either that or I just ordered crepes. Happy spring, y’all. Best time of year. Be good to each other. ✌🏼💕

Whoever said don’t meet your heroes gave bad advice. Welcome to Austin, Kelly! And thanks for the intro and the killer party @langostarojo. Looking forward to the launch of Austin Surf Club. Big things coming out 71 East, y’all. 📸: @dave.mead

TBT to this jump from 2013. A lot of crazy life events led up to this moment. The loss of my parents. A battle with cancer. The classic turning 40 midlife crisis. I still think about this jump all the time and the insane adrenaline rush that came over me as I climbed back out of the water. A good reminder to keep pushing yourself to go outside your comfort zone. Just maybe not always jumping sixty feet into potentially shark infested waters. 🤙🏼 #TBT #Hawaii

Super Bowl throwback! So many ridiculous stories associated with this project but I think my favorite moment was Dee Snider coming up to our director (@oradot) saying “excuse me, but some of Alf’s hair got stuck in my studded bracelet.” As a child of the 80s I think that moment pretty much made my life. Good times with an all-star collection of talented coworkers. #TBT 📷: @dave.mead

World Oceans Day is always a fun reminder that I spend too much time at a desk. The crew at @outerknown have launched an admirable project for ocean conservancy called #ItsNotOk as a reminder that we're dumping way too much stuff into our oceans and beaches. Their facts and figures can do a better job explaining it than i can, so hit the hashtag, watch the film and take a look at what you can do to help. #worldoceansday
