You know there's SO much that has come from this past week at New York Comic Con, but I actually want to talk about the amazing group of people I got to experience this trip with.

This past year has been extremely tough mentally and physically on me, after the heart attack, to the point I considered giving up on my dream.
Health has this way of mentally messing with you.
BUT I have these amazing friends and family who have pushed me along the way.

Then I spent this amazing week meeting new talent and fantastic friends who have revitalized and encouraged me, and I can't thank you all. From the bottom of my heart.

I left New York feeling more myself, and I left so damn proud of myself and what I accomplished on this trip. But I am also super proud of you. You came in with a vision, and you all pushed beyond that.
I'll try my best to tag everyone, but to all of my followers, I truly believe you need to go and follow all these amazing creators.

They say a photo tells you a story.
I can actually say these two photos tell it all.

Trip 4 Complete 🌉: NEW YORK CITY!! @newyorkcomiccon was an absolute BLAST, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. SO many comic creators, so many new friends, so many cool panels and publishers and sights to see. Honestly can’t even put it into words, so, I’ll keep it short.

For starters. I went with such an amazing group of people, all tagged in the first photo. Some close friends, some new ones. You were all so lovely and I can’t wait to meet up again and maybe even make some comics together. It was absolute pleasure.

Second. I got to meet some creators who inspire me so so much, and that’s the @lpontheleft crew, your panel was awesome and y’all were so nice when we met. I can’t wait to meet again, you’ve made my whole year!

@michelefire and Bob you guys are legends, obviously in the industry but I mean as friends. We love you guys, thanks so much for hanging at the show, it’s always great seeing you.

There are so many others I want to thank, @bishart and @emmakubert for being nice enough to take time out of your day to look at our Work, and for just being great people. @thevaultcomics and @jamesbemmett for being super super awesome, and for the night out! And @thatkevinsmith , we only met briefly, but you’re awesome man, was great to meet you in person! @briancohalloran and @dirkmanning thank you guys for the night out as well, it’s always great seeing you guys! @readtinyonion , it was great to see you again, and @gregandfake , keep on kicking ass!! I love your books!!!

Honestly, I’ll go into detail about the trip in my newsletter, so go subscribe, otherwise, enjoy some pictures! Big things are happening, this trip is elevated my confidence and artistic confidence, I can’t wait to get drawing and show you guys some cool stuff!

Love you all, thanks for the memories:)

🩷My best friends in comics.🩷
Just got back relatively safe from NYCC!

When I was a kid I would dream of the day that I got to go to this.
There's a lot to talk about, a lot I can't talk about-- but it was all amazing stuff.

More posts to come, but I just wanted to celebrate my friends and @radicaldumbass first and foremost. They're the ones that helped make my dreams come true this weekend. Even the new friends! You guys rock too!

Love you all.

New York Comic Con, man. What a trip. This was truly life changing. These photos don’t do it justice. I met SO MANY cool people. I felt like I’ve met the rest of my “graduating class” in the comics world. These folks are all going to do such cool things and I can’t wait to be there for it.

I love comics, I love making comics, I love people who make comics. I can’t wait to make more comics.

First photo of me nursing a monster energy at 10am notwithstanding.

My voice is shot. I’ve been yelling all weekend. I’m gonna go home and hide for a while.

I’m excited for what’s next 🤘
