Sweet, handsome Finn passed away peacefully this weekend, at home, with Chris and me by his side. He was almost 17. And while we only had him with us a few short years, he leaves an everlasting impression on our hearts where he will live forever.

Found wandering around Newark, Finn loved hunting for chipmunks in the mountains and digging for clams at the beach. Somehow, he even knew how to crack them open. In town, he said hello to every dog he passed; certain humans, too.

If you ever get the chance, adopt a senior dog. Finn was a gift who is missed already. His memory is a blessing. #love

4 years today #CLEANANDSOBER ! This is what a miracle looks like. Not picking up is a daily practice , some days harder than others. It’s a miracle that I haven’t had the desire in years, and I’ve been through some shiz! every day I decide to focus on make the world better and promoting #selfcare and #selfesteem for my #queercommunity and #bipoc #qpoc #blackqueer community .
