“From Concept to Camera” . . . One of Daredevil’s opening moments from Born Again Season 2. Even though it didn’t make the final edit, it was one of my favorites to prep and direct with #CharlieCox Daredevil diving backward off a bridge set piece 20 feet in the air. Grateful for the opportunity and everyone who brought this together. Big thank you to @afstunts for the rigging. Led by @garris_tim #ActionDirector - Philip Silvera Episode 1 Directors: @justinhbenson & @aaronmoorhead Rigging: Action Factory #AFstunts Wait until you see what we have for the final season of #DaredevilBornAgain Season 3. 👊🏽 #AFstunts

If you haven’t yet seen it, definitely check out Widow’s Bay on Apple TV. I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of this fantastic project, and am so happy to have shared in the vision of this work. @paulmarininestunts let me design, choreograph, direct, perform-in, and edit this concept fight for episode 7. We helped the rest of the creative team bring this idea to life and our work made it into the episode almost shot-for-shot! I am deeply thankful to get to do what I love, and deeply thankful to @appletv @katiedippold @muraihiro @thematthewrhys @therealhamishlinklater Samuel Donovan and the rest of the @widowsbay team for an amazing first season. Here’s to a second! #widowsbay #emmy #stunts #previz #director

Day 21 of 21. Our final day. Started with horseback riding through some of the most beautiful parts of Sáo Miguel with Equitur Farms. After a long three hour ride it was so smart of past us to plan for a hot spring trip to Caldeira Velha! We made sure to go back to all our favorite places, Cafe GIZI for coffee and toasts, MôMô by Sensi for dinner, and a walk around the heart of downtown for a final goodbye. This trip was so needed for both of us. We’ve been working so much and having this amount of time with one another was truly the best gift we could ever give one another. I can’t wait to come back.

Day 20 of 21. We island hopper back to São Miguel for our last two nights and finally got to the Gorreana Tea farms in all their winding majesty. I wish I could bottle the smell of the leaves freshly roasting. Then we got to have our very LAST DIVE with our incredible instructor @raquejerez. One more swim around the Dori Wreck, a final goodbye to Spicy the dive dog, we truly couldn’t be happier to book-end this incredible adventure by diving with Raquel.

Day 19 of 21. Today was full of good food as we get ready to hop back over to Sao Miguel for the last leg of our trip. We spend lunch in the Jardim Duque da Terceira which was a beautifully terraced public space in the heart of Angra do Heroísmo. It just kept going up and up and up and the views got better and better and better!

We got to go back to the archeological underwater area and see the anchors is much better conditions as well as dive in really choppy waters out at Ilhéus das Cabras which was an incredible experience. Sunset down at the port and another lovely dinner in Angra do Heroísmo.

Day 17 of 21. Diving in the caves on Ilhéus das Cabras and the Cemitério das Âncoras in the port of Angra where ships from hundred of years have cut their lines to avoid incoming storms. We also found an incredible rescue cat colony on Monte Brasil and the silliest deer who had the sweetest faces I’ve ever seen.

Day 17 of 21. Coastal driving to the north of Biscoitos to see churning water on the cliff sides followed by a walk through the woods on the property we are staying on. The second half of the day was spent at a Tourada à Corda in Feteira jumping over walls and celebrating with the town. It was amazing to see a classic bull run but even more so to see the kids playing the parts in between each set. They had the crowd in the palm of their hand and hoof!
