Plainfield sophomore Kiion Jones put up a monster line Week 7, hauling in 292 receiving yards in the Cardinals' 22-23 heartbreaker against Watchung Hills. That's not just the season's best single-game receiving total in New Jersey — it's a Plainfield school game record.

Ewing junior Christian Casey added his own milestone with a school-record 202 yards in the Blue Devils' 55-27 win over Allentown, while the Redbirds' Dan Ducalo answered with 187 in the loss.

🏆 Kiion Jones's 292 receiving yards is a new Plainfield single-game record (their own previous mark of 222, 2026-27).
🏆 Christian Casey's 202 receiving yards is a new Ewing single-game record (previous 185, Tyreek Rollins, 2021-22).
🔥 Kiion Jones (Plainfield): 292 receiving yards, the best single-game performance in NJ this season so far (previous high 246).

MAJOR PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS! This week the Panthers take on the Stateliners in a match with significant impact on both of these teams seedings in the playoffs. Bridgewater currently holds a better record and are on a 5 game winning streak, but Phillipsburg holds a win over St. Joseph Metuchen. Will the Stateliners put a road block on Bridgewater-Raritan's win streak, or will the panthers stride ahead? Find out this Friday on the Garden State Athletic Network! #njfootball #hsfootball

Hunter Wolfe owned Week 6. The Newton senior picked off three passes in the Braves' 35-6 win at Kittatinny, setting a school career record and matching the best single-game interception total in New Jersey this season.

Behind him, a five-way tie at two picks. Toms River South's Hamza Hollingshead paired his pair with 10 tackles in a 35-7 win over Lacey, while Manasquan's Casey Mahoney and Caldwell's Erik Gadhok each grabbed two in shutout-flavored routs — 41-0 for the Big Blue Warriors, 41-14 for the Chiefs.

🏆 Hunter Wolfe passed the Newton career record for interceptions this week (previous 9, DeMarius Posey, 2023-24).
🏆 Elijah White passed the Belvidere career record for interceptions this week (previous 8, Thomas Madeo, 2014-15).
🔥 Hunter Wolfe (Newton): 3 interceptions, tying the best single-game performance in NJ this season.

Paramus Catholic made the biggest statement on the board. The Paladins knocked off Bergen Catholic 31-17 on Oct 10, and that head-to-head win vaults them to #3, climbing past the higher-rated Crusaders despite Bergen Catholic's 64.4 AdjEM topping Paramus Catholic's 57.8. Don Bosco Prep holds #1 at a board-high 73.2, even after dropping its last game 34-30 at Bergen Catholic — a result the board doesn't honor, so the Ironmen stay above the Crusaders.

The top of this week's rankings is pure SFC muscle: 6 of the top 10 hail from the conference, with 5 of those from SFC - United Red and 4 Bergen County programs stacked in the first four spots.

How these rankings work:
AdjEM (the blue chip) is our power rating: how good a team is, built to predict the next game. We line teams up by AdjEM, then honor head-to-head results: beat a team above you and you climb past them, the two of you meeting in the middle. Where two teams haven't met, the rating decides. Each team's chips are its key results — the highest-ranked teams it beat and the team above it that beat it — with the rank the opponent holds this week.

The fine print:
• Each honored result buys a fixed budget of movement, charged by the square of the spots moved — so a result reaches about 20 spots of rating order, and a chain of results costs more than its parts
• Ties and forfeits are ignored; a series played more than once goes to the side that won more of it
• Results form cycles (A beat B, B beat C, C beat A) that no order can fully honor. A result that can't be honored is the grey chip: that team still sits above a team that beat it
• NJSIAA members only; recomputed after every ratings update — this board posts every Sunday
