A pretty special day for the Ferrum Soccer family!

Yesterday we got to celebrate @bri.bitzz as she said “I do!” From former teammates standing by her side to our current team there to celebrate, it was so special having so much of our Ferrum family together for such a big day.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! We’re so happy for you both!

To the game that built me,

Thank you for being my place to turn to, my joy, and bringing some of the most important people into my life. This sport has been the biggest and greatest part of me for the past 18 years. Truthfully, I’m not sure who I am without it. While I knew this day would come, nothing fully prepares you to say goodbye to your first love.

I’m incredibly grateful for the many people who have guided me through this journey and I’m thankful to have ended it on such a high note with a team who made every moment enjoyable. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to play this beautiful game with the most amazing people.

I’m glad that 3 year old Jadyn fell in love with this sport and I am honored to have been able to represent Ferrum Women’s Soccer as #18💛

⚽️ Congrats to Ferrum’s @bri.bitzz on earning All-Region. Bri is only the third All-Region selection at Ferrum since the inception of the women’s soccer program in 1988.
