Since I was four years old, all I’ve ever known and dedicated my life to was softball. I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities, teammates, great and horrible coaches, and memories that I’ll carry forever. Through all the physical and emotional pain, this sport taught me so many lessons. I made so many great friends, experienced so much, and have so many stories to tell in the future. As many times as my dad made me cry pushing me so hard, I’ll forever be thankful he forced me into this sport and never let me quit. It’s heartbreaking knowing there will be no more games, no more bus rides aggravating Coach G, no more overnight trips, no more Ginger barking during the national anthem every home game, no more forgetting my pants and having to wear a large, and no more softball. But more than anything, I’m so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to wear the uniform and be part of something that was so great.🤍 #2

Freshman Year: A year that can’t be put into words🤍

Been trying to figure out how to put this all into words so here it is… Softball has been a part of my life for the past 15 years, and saying goodbye is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. It gave me so much more than just a game, it gave me discipline, strength, unforgettable memories, and friendships that I will always carry with me. From the early mornings and long practices to the tough losses and incredible wins, every moment shaped me into who I am today. Softball taught me how to work hard, how to stay determined when things got difficult, and how to believe in myself even when the odds felt stacked against me. It became a place where I grew, learned, and found a part of myself. Walking away is emotional because this sport has been such a big chapter of my life, but I’m beyond grateful for every lesson, every teammate, every coach, and every moment on the field. While this chapter is coming to an end, the love I have for softball and everything it gave me will stay with me forever. Goodbye, softball and thank you for 15 unforgettable years.
