Year 9 was a special one 🩵

I could write a storybook about my years here at West Broward. So many moments of good, bad, ugly, wins, and losses. But through it all, this program has kept me grounded, given me purpose, and provided a place where I get to love children I would take in as my own.

Year nine… and I still find myself asking, how did we get here so fast?
This season was incredibly special.

Coming off a tough season of losses as a coach, you dig deep. You question yourself, your love for the sport, and whether it’s all worth it — the long hours, the highs and lows, the missed holidays and vacations, and the mentally exhausting days.

But then this group showed up.

They reminded me why I started. They trusted the process, and believed even when it wasn’t easy. They fought, they grew, they fell in love with the grind, and they brought joy back into this program every single day.

This season healed parts of me I didn’t even realize were tired.

Year nine reminded me that it’s never just about the wins — it’s about the people, the lessons, the moments, and the impact that lasts far beyond cheerleading. I am so grateful for all my friends, who have become family through my years here coaching, and for your support and love.

To my 26 party girls: You did it! DISTRICT, REGIONAL, STATE, & NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! The first Broward County team to do that, and what an honor it was to watch. You were hardworking, lovable, and never lost sight of your dreams. Through all the bad this program went through, you found the light and never turned it off. You truly were a joy to coach, and turned this season into a true BOBCAT PARTY🪩✨

& to my co- coaches, Danielle and Corey, I am beyond grateful for the both of you. Not everyone is so lucky to have people like you in their lives and get to do this crazy thing we do together.

Thank you to our parents, admin, booster, and families who support us day in and day out. None of this would be possible, and we are beyond grateful for the village behind us.
