a little over a year ago I started talking about hosting my own sourdough class. I was very pregnant with my girlie and knew I wanted to teach others how to make sourdough from home.

5 months later I launched my microbakery, still dreaming of hosting a sourdough class.

yesterday was finally that day and it was amazing! to be honest, I was nervous going into it because sourdough can seem to daunting, and I wanted more than anything to make it feel achievable.

thank you to all of you who showed up and made my first class a success. for those of you who wanted to join, but spots were full or timing was an issue, stay tuned! I hope to post my monthly class schedule soon!!

the beauty of sourdough is that you make of other whatever you want to!

maybe you learn to make a loaf of bread weekly for your family
maybe you learn to switch all of your baked goods to something that's easier to digest (& you know all of the ingredients)
maybe you learn because you love to bake and you're just up for the challenge
maybe you learn because you find the taste of true, homemade sourdough is unbeatable and cannot be bought in stores

whatever the reason, there's now a whole community of people learning this skill our great great grandparents knew well!
& once you learn, you can't stop 😛

Join me February 9th from 2-4:30pm if you're ready to learn for yourself! class is being held in Monroeville and there are 3 spots left!
visit risingjune.com/store to purchase your ticket, or visit the link in my bio 🫶🏻
comment below and I'm happy to send you the link straight to your inbox!

if you're not local to Pittsburgh, my ebook is available on my website as well!

there's something so therapeutic about using your hands to create something beautiful and delicious!

learning sourdough became more than a hobby. it became an outlet for me to process the hard things in life.

so many loaves over the years were made while I poured my heart out to the Lord and I can promise many tears were shed during the bread making process.

if you're thinking about making your own bread- don't wait! you'll be so glad you started now 🫶🏻
I teach you everything you need to know to get started on your sourdough journey- just click on the link in my bio or go to risingjune.com/store to purchase your ebook today!
