Three years ago, I took a leap of faith, and what started as a dream has become the most incredible journey, allowing me to do what I truly love.

♡ Truly speechless as I reflect on Aura’s grand opening. The community turnout exceeded my wildest expectations, I never imagined that there would be people lined up to get in and the entire building would overflow with people but that’s what happened! Yesterday as I had the privilege to talk to so many women I realized something, we have such a unique, special, community with the most uplifting women that are eager to connect. It was an honor to host everyone, be a part of meaningful conversations, meet new faces, see others mingle, and watch everyone line up for the vendors as well!

♡ One thing that is special about aesthetics is that I get the opportunity to connect and get to know clients on a very deep level as I serve them. There’s something very personal and vulnerable about visiting an aesthetician to address aesthetic concerns, or goals. We very often have to dive deep into health, medications, hormones, stress levels, autoimmune disorders, mental health, diet, etc as I create a plan and treatment path for a client. I see that, I take the responsibility of being trusted by my clients very seriously. I’ve had my share of mistakes that turned into valuable lessons, I didn’t necessarily expect or dream to be a business owner this young, I simply listened to what the community was saying and saw the NEED this community had for a space where they could walk in and feel comfortable, special, seen, heard, understood and safe. Not judged, critiqued, misled, used and monetized to hit profit margins.

♡ Aura was carefully constructed to embody a serene, peaceful environment for the community. Aura does more than provide beauty services, it provides an experience, a community. Thank you for all the support and allowing Aura to grow. I can’t help but wonder, is it time to start bringing in additional staff that shares the same values and expands on offered services? We will see what the next year brings. One thing is for certain, Aura welcomes you with open arms and promises to deliver exceptional, aesthetic services to Moore county.
