At Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma, we are committed to developing leaders, fostering meaningful professional connections, celebrating excellence, and creating opportunities for women to expand their influence. I have always been a person who advocates for the needs of others. I have done it in every role God has placed me in. This past Monday, I needed to talk to Cyndi Munson, who is running for governor in our state. I wanted to especially know her position on small businesses especially as it relates to women, women's access to funding, and her position on education. I will never not be concerned about this. I want to especially thank my BT and Vice-President of Ms Corporate America for joining me. I appreciate everything she does. She is amazing. Women's Leadership, Health, Education, and Freedom is dear to my heart, and it matters how Oklahoma handles it. #Day22of100DaysofPosts #AdvocateforEducation #AdvocateforWomen #OklahomaWomenLeaders #GovernorPosition

Through Sister Keepers Youth Leadership & Mentoring and My First Period Tour, she is helping the next generation recognize their worth and walk in confidence. BUT HERE'S WHY THIS QUEEN IS SO SPECIAL TO ME! ๐Ÿ’œ OUR STORY GOES ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE AT MARTIN๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก. Yes! We attended college together! Years later, we served together through the International Association of Women, where I had the privilege of serving as her Vice President in Tennessee. And let me tell you something about Betina... WHATEVER I WAS DOING, SHE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO LEND A HAND! She helped me with Girlpreneur ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฉท in Tennessee, supporting my efforts to empower young female entrepreneurs! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘ DAY 8 of 12 DAYS OF LEADERSHIP & LEGACY SHE SAW WHAT I WAS STILL QUESTIONING! VISION. STRATEGY. EXECUTION. LEADERSHIP. On the eighth day of Leadership & Legacy, we celebrate Trinae Hall, Deputy Vice President, to the Chief Operations Officer of Ms. Corporate America! THIS ONE IS PERSONAL! ๐Ÿ’œ When I was considering becoming the Founding President of Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma, I hesitated. Not because I wasn't qualified. Not because I lacked experience. But because I understood the magnitude of the assignment. And then Trinae asked me: โ€œWHY ARE YOU HESITATING?โ€ She followed that question with words I will never forget. โ€œYOU LITERALLY HAVE EVERYTHING NEEDED TO DO THIS!โ€ WHEW! ๐Ÿ’œ SOMETIMES THE WOMAN WHO ENCOURAGES EVERYBODY ELSE NEEDS SOMEBODY TO ENCOURAGE HER! And that is exactly what Trinae did for me. When I look at our picture together at a Ms. Corporate America corporate function, I see more than two women standing together. I SEE A WOMAN WHO HELPED ME SAY YES TO MY NEXT CHAPTER! But let me tell you about the woman behind that encouragement! With nearly a decade of experience in business development, marketing, operations, relationship management, risk analysis, and leadership, Trinae understands how to connect vision with execution. Her professional background in legal and professional services has strengthened her expertise in strategic planning, compliance, accountability, and operational excellence. SHE DOESN'T JUST RECOGNIZE OPPORTUNITIES. SHE RECOGNIZES LEADERS WHO ARE READY TO STEP INTO THEM! Trinae, THANK YOU for helping me recognize what I already carried! Because of that YES, we are now BUILDING THE TABLE for women across Oklahoma! And as we prepare for our October 24 Grand Opening, I am reminded that sometimes one conversation can change the direction of an entire leadership journey. ๐Ÿ‘‘OKLAHOMA, HELP ME CELEBRATE TRINAE HALL! ๐Ÿ’œ SHE SAW WHAT I WAS STILL QUESTIONING, AND SHE HELPED ME SAY YES! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘ DAY 7 of 12 DAYS OF LEADERSHIP & LEGACY SHE IS NOT JUST PART OF THE VISION. SHE IS PART OF MY LEGACY! GENERATIONS. PURPOSE. CALLING. LEGACY. On the seventh day of Leadership & Legacy, we celebrate Briana Harris, Oklahoma City Leadership Fellow for Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma! NOW THIS ONE HAS MY WHOLE HEART! ๐Ÿ’œ Because today, I get to celebrate MY DAUGHTER! Before the titles, the degrees, the businesses, the books, and the leadership appointments, God entrusted me with one of the greatest responsibilities of my life. BEING HER MOTHER! I have watched Briana grow from a little girl with dreams into a young woman with purpose, creativity, and a calling of her own. ๐Ÿ’ฐ A proud production company owner!๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐ŸŽ“ A proud MAGNA CUM LAUDE graduate of Alabama State University, with a degree in Theatre Arts! ๐ŸŽญ A drama educator, helping young people discover their gifts and find their voices! ๐Ÿ‘‘ And now, our Oklahoma City Leadership Fellow for Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma! But let me tell you something about LEGACY! MY DAUGHTER DOES NOT HAVE TO BECOME ME TO BE MY LEGACY! ๐Ÿ—ฃShe has her own voice. ๐Ÿ—ฃHer own gifts. ๐Ÿ—ฃHer own dreams. ๐Ÿ—ฃHer own assignment. ๐Ÿ—ฃAND HER OWN LIGHT! โœจ I don't want her to live in my shadow. I want her to stand confidently in everything God created her to be! Because generational legacy isn't about raising children to repeat our journeys. IT'S ABOUT GIVING THEM A FOUNDATION STRONG ENOUGH TO BUILD SOMETHING GREATER! When I talk about BUILDING THE TABLE, I'm talking about creating opportunities for women today AND the generations coming behind us. And today, I get to watch my daughter take her seat at that table. ๐Ÿ‘‘THIS IS LEGACY IN MOTION! Briana, of all the titles I have ever carried, MOM will always be one of my greatest honors. You don't have to walk in my shadow, baby girl. YOU HAVE YOUR OWN LIGHT! And I will always be cheering you on. ๐Ÿ’œ OKLAHOMA, HELP ME CELEBRATE MY DAUGHTER, BRIANA' HARRIS! MY DAUGHTER. MY HEART. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘ DAY 6 of 12 DAYS OF LEADERSHIP & LEGACY SHE HELPS BUILD THE VISION. BUT SHE MATTERS BEYOND THE ASSIGNMENT! On the sixth day of Leadership & Legacy, we celebrate Dedra Galvez, Deputy of Programs and Leadership for Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma! ๐Ÿ‘‘ VISION. PURPOSE. COMPASSION. LEGACY. Dedra is part of the leadership team helping us create meaningful programs and opportunities that will equip women across Oklahoma to lead, grow, connect, and serve. Because we're not simply gathering women. WE'RE DEVELOPING LEADERS! But let me share something else. Recently, Dedra and I spent some time together at a restaurant. No organizational agenda. No list of assignments. No discussion about what needed to get done. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW SHE WAS DOING! ๐Ÿ’œ Because sometimes the women who help carry the vision need someone to check on them, too! And I believe this wholeheartedly: WOMEN SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO EARN CARE AND SUPPORT THROUGH THEIR PRODUCTIVITY! Before the titles, responsibilities, and accomplishments, we are women who deserve meaningful relationships and genuine support. That's the kind of leadership culture we're building in Oklahoma. โœจ Developing leaders. โœจ Creating opportunities. โœจ Cultivating relationships. โœจ Caring for the women who lead. NOT JUST TITLES. RELATIONSHIPS! NOT JUST PROGRAMS. PURPOSE! NOT JUST A SEAT. WE'RE BUILDING THE TABLE! ๐Ÿ‘‘ Oklahoma, help me celebrate DEDRA GALVEZ! ๐Ÿ’œ Developing Leaders. Serving with Excellence. Blessed That I Get to Build the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs! ๐ŸŽ‰ Leadership is not just about the doors you walk through. It is also about the doors you help open for others. I am excited to officially announce my selection as a Student Pod Mentor for the Center for Black Entrepreneurship (CBE) Mentor-in-Residence Program, an initiative connected to Spelman College, Morehouse College, and the Black Economic Alliance Foundation. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of educating, coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders at various stages of their journeys. But there is something especially meaningful about pouring into the next generation of entrepreneurs who are preparing to build businesses, create opportunities, and leave their own mark on the world. And that looks like my children ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ. In this role, I will work alongside emerging student founders through monthly mentoring sessions focused on goal-setting, navigating challenges, strengthening their entrepreneurial thinking, and growing their ventures and careers. I believe entrepreneurship is about more than building businesses. It is about building people, creating economic opportunities, and developing legacies that will outlive us. As a business owner, educator, and leadership strategist, I understand the power of having someone believe in your vision, challenge your thinking, and help you recognize possibilities you may not yet see for yourself. And now, I get to be that person for another generation of leaders! I am grateful for this opportunity to serve, share what I have learned, and continue doing the work I love. When we invest in the next generation, we are investing in a future we may never fully see, but one we have the power to help shape. Here's to building businesses, developing leaders, and advancing legacy! #Day16of100DayPostingChallenge #DrNikkiSpeaksEnterprises #CenterForBlackEntrepreneurship #BlackEntrepreneurship #MentoringBlackStudentEntrepreneurs
