Around the world in 8 days! What a journey…
I was very lucky so score a bit of luxury for the return flights as well as a couple of hours in London! 🇬🇧
Just enough time for a quick catch up with my Mum & Dad.. and a chance to stock up on English Chocolate 😆

I’m so grateful to @thermomix_au for the opportunity to go to the Vorwerk International Awards! What a fantastic experience ✈️. #thermomixaus #vian #aroundtheword #londoncalling #mumanddad

This year was not about playing safe. It was about challenging every assumption of what art and design education should be. These nine moments capture the experiments, confrontations and breakthroughs that shaped our community.

The New Art School exists for one reason: to create a space where creativity is not tamed, softened or standardised. Here, students are encouraged to imagine, desire and create , to question everything, to make work that unsettles the predictable comfort of the industry. No templates. No polite creativity. No fear of being too much.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this ongoing rebellion against passive learning. You showed that education can still be alive, uncomfortable and transformative.

Next year we aim higher, push harder and refuse, once again, to fit into the safe, outdated structures that still dominate creative education.

More risk. More imagination. More truth. #top #topnine #of #bestnine #best #instagram #happynewyear #newyear #art #instagramtop #bestof #mytop #memories #digitalart #k #topnineinstagram #newyearseve #recap #mytopnine #illustration #cosplay #gumball #drawing #thankyou #artist #music #goodbye #photography #instagood #hello

Soho is full of surprises - and so is Bébé Bob.

Ahead of @friezeofficial, we’re turning the spotlight on the art that hangs in our own dining rooms. From the bold colours of Brian Grimwood’s illustrations to Joseph Fanjoy’s sharp lines, Bébé’s pieces were chosen with the same care (and flair) as our cocktails.

Art, after all, isn’t only for galleries - sometimes it’s best enjoyed with a drink in hand. 🍸

Brian Grimwood: The Illustrator Who Rewrote the Rules

As an illustration educator, few figures stand out as boldly, and as impactfully, as Brian Grimwood. His work is not merely a reflection of evolving visual trends; it is a catalyst for change that helped define what modern illustration could become. In an era when hyper-realistic, tightly controlled imagery dominated the commercial landscape, Grimwood dared to introduce a freer, more expressive line, loose, lyrical, and unmistakably human. Emerging in the 1970s, Grimwood’s early illustrations marked a radical departure from the status quo. His influences ranged from Chinese brush painting to jazz improvisation, and this breadth of reference infused his work with a spontaneity that felt both fresh and fearless. LINK IN BIO!!!
