Y’all……COME’ERE.

I’ve seen Macbeth on stage once before. Disappointing was an understatement. I was excited to see this one….but also nervous.

It was more than I could have ever imagined, expected and dreamed of. This cast is literally one of the greatest casts in any play I’ve ever seen on a stage. It was more emotional than I expected, it was more hilarious than I expected…..it all was just more than I expected. And of course Brian and I could not of been more proud of our dear Jared and Isabel who left their hearts, souls, energy and all the other things on the floor. It was…..oh what a privilege to be a witness. Somebody get whoever cast this group a Tony award please. If you have the time please go see this extraordinary production at the Core theatre in Richardson. @classicstheatre

Also: LADY MACFREAKINBETH. Untill I find the adequate words, that is all.

There’s something pretty special and entirely comforting in knowing that someone like Matthew Elkins is in your corner.

Happy birthday Warrior! I love you

Jared,

I’ve said this many times in my endless pre show notes but today….of all days, it is worth repeating. You are such a bright light and undeniable force in the Castle. The people around you- coworker family and guests cannot help but smile, laugh, and feel more alive in your presence. But do not forget dear one that you are so much more than an actor.

You are an incredible father to Sofia

You are a fiercely loving and loyal husband to Isa. You once told me that you live to love and serve her…..you embody what it means for a husband to live to love and serve their wife.

You are a friend who shows the heck up. Time and time again. For me, for Brian, for coworkers who call out last minute. You don’t know how to not show up.

You are a warrior King. The battles you fight daily that no one sees, that you have given me the privilege of getting a glimpse of it is breathtaking. Oh to have the strength that you do.

You are a seeker- you want to know the truth…..no matter what and you want to live your live in light of truth, that is a rare treasure.

So to you who defines what it means to defend the helpless, to speak the truth and to be brave in the face of evil…..of adversity…..and anything else that dares to come your way, I hope you feel loved and celebrated for all that you are and all that you mean to so many. You are so loved beyond.

Happy birthday

I love you

❤️,
Me

If I told you how funny she is you would want nothing more than to sit at a coffee shop and listen to her funny stories and…sometimes unfiltered thoughts, and you would think that she was one of the funniest people you know .

If I told you how thoughtful she is, you would want nothing more than to learn from one of the most selfless people you would ever meet….and you would be inspired to go and do likewise.

If I told you of the hard worker she is, your head would spin and you would think she was one of the hardest working people you would ever meet. You wouldn’t be able to not be motivated and inspired to try and do the same. Yeah, good luck with that.

If I told you how much she loves her Jesus and how desperately she wants to tell you of his Love, Goodness and Faithfulness, you’d think that after every interaction with every person she comes in contact with that all they would be able to see, think about, fall madly in love with and want to know more about was Jesus- and she would be just fine with that. You’d be convinced that Jesus is all she sees and sometimes, you wouldn’t be wrong.

If I told you the rock solid friend and the “Show up” girl that she is, you would think she was one of the greatest friends that you could ever have, the kind that makes life worth living and the burdens less heavy- cause there she is walking with you and taking some of that heavy burden on her shoulder then telling you that “we” are taking these burdens right where they belong- at the feet of Jesus.

Jesus. Always Jesus. No matter what-Jesus.

Happy birthday Monét. Thank you for changing me.

Upon further examination……we’ve decided to wait till Monday for Brian’s return home.

He’s fine, we just….jumped the gun a bit. I have a full weekend ahead of me and won’t have much time home. Brian can take care of himself but some help for the first few days will be better. So……4 more days. #calmtheheckdown #waitfortheappointedtime #itwillcome

We could not have gotten through these last few weeks without you. Heck I’m convinced you’re one of the few we couldn’t have gotten through these last two and a half years without. The same can be said for Kaitlyn as well, I certainly do not want to forget her.

It is an incredible gift to know that someone is always in your corner, someone will always step up, and as long as this gift is in your life, you are never alone.

Thank you.

Thank you for always being in our corner.

Thank you for stepping up….you’ve never had to and yet you do not hesitate.

Thank you for the random text messages.

You are a gift to your family, our MT family, and your friends- of which Brian and I are most grateful.

Thank you for everything.

You’ve had quite a year…..and this year is only gonna get better.

I love you beyond. Happy birthday

❤️,
Me ….and B
